As a dog owner got to say that after the snow has melted away the amount of dog shit left is far greater than that which I normally encounter.

Just started in S8.

Leaving the car down the hill tonight to give us the best chance of getting off tomorrow dinner. Amey are out on the main roads so hoping they learnt their lesson on Boxing Day. We have food, drink and blankets in the car... just in case.

Made it into work. Chesterfield Road, London Road, St Mary's Gate, Charter Row and West Street all clear... so would hazard a guess that all main roads around town are fine.

Side roads are slushy, as are pavements, so watch for slippage. The amount of people wearing ballet pumps and canvas trainers I've seen today beggars belief and they deserve everything they get.
