I've never looked at Porktalk in my life but have had a quick gander tonight.
The pigs have soon changed their tune, they've got a 2 page thread of predictions and NOT ONE is predicting a defeat

We've also got one asking if there are any Owls friendly pubs near the Lane - London Road area

Yep, the news that the Fairy and some bloke called Mathias [or something like that] might be available has got them all jizzing their pants.
Saw one post earlier where he reckoned Wilder sounded nervous, really?! Not sure what interviews he has been listening to?

Incidentally just seen footage of Sparkies 'I was the king of Sheffield' rant on Calendar :D

Weren't you tempted to register and tell him he'd be fine in the Clubhouse with a Wendy shirt on?

One of the derbies I went to at the stadium of rust, had an incognito pre match rendezvous in the Sportsman at Wadsley.
There were about ten of us (no colours) , a few Wendies with kids and quite a few dodgy looking lads. Then I realised I knew one lad in one of the dodgy groups and he was a Blade. Said hello then someone from another group came over and they were Blades too. We soon realised it was about 80% Blades and a few normal Wendys.
I can't think of anywhere near the Lane that would be remotely similar.

I suppose we'll learn afterwards from NKT how they 'took' the Cricketers, Railway and Golden Lion. There might even be some of their bigger boys telling us how they kicked our arses out of the Sheldon, Sportsman and Tramway.....

Imagine placing your faith in that sneaky, slimy, cowardly little primadonna. Good player or not.

I am surprised he hasn't demanded another pay rise before he graces the derby with his presence.

With any luck he will get himself sent off.

I remember the 1-1 draw at the Lane when Littlejohn scored for us and Hirst scored their equaliser.

An OCS wannabe the night before decided it would be a good idea for him and his girlfriend and another couple to walk down to the Lane with us, all mates together. (He was shitting himself in other words)

So we met up in one of our local pubs, (The Springvale in Crookes) I'd already arranged to meet my three cousins, all young 20 odd year old lads and the smallest was 6ft 3 tall.
I'd told my cousins to behave themselves, we were going for a few pints and some Wednesday fans, male and female would be with us.

The next stop was the Star & Garter which used to be opposite the Arts Tower
This Wednesday fan did all he could to stop us going in there as it was apparently going to be full of some right munchers (Wendy fans)

We went in anyway, the place was packed, there was United fans dancing on the pool table, stood on the bar, swinging on the chandeliers

The Wendy fans didn't know where to look, they'd decided to make that their base camp and it was overrun with Blades
 
They seem to be getting more like their old selfs now Fernando and the other one are fit. I was getting worried earlier this week it was all doom and gloom on Porktalk, but they seem to be getting all arrogant again now.
They have even started talking about attendances again and how we haven't managed to sell out.
I've missed the arrogant pigs.

But are they fit? I think it's UnLuhukay's last roll of the dice. Fairy will be nowhere near full fitness and is certainly not the kind of battler required in a game like tonight's.

I doubt if the cheating little twat will feature.

They couldn't get in because of all the Plod wandering around with hand held video cameras.

A nice pint of Tetleys (and a decent barmaid too IIRC), but we stopped going in when it all got a bit too 1984.

A mate of mine used to work in there, early to mid 90s. Possibly one of the first pubs in Britain with a proper panic room behind the bar.

I think they both will feature they have both trained all week, Fernando has only been out for 3 weeks so shouldn't take too much to get fit, not sure how long the other one has been out.
You only have to look on Porktalk to see how much of a lift the prospect of them playing some part has given them.
The position their manager is in he surely has to include them.
