It’s definitely a red flag that we are operating very similar to how we were under the prince, happy to just wait until late in the window to get the finances right on the deal, neglecting the early fixtures of the season. To a point I agree but the season doesn't start when the transfer window closes...4 league games and at least one cup game will have already been played by then. Even the most deluded pig would baulk at giving your rivals a 4 game head-start.
