The million dollar question is why is Sydie constantly doing well for England youth and not us?
He looks a different player with England, more creative, more attacking and more confident.
Are we mismanaging him?

I think it's just that the quality of opponents is much more inferior.

Because he’s playing against players at the same age as him who aren’t as good as the players he comes up against in the championship.

He’s playing teams like Slovakia u23s, I don’t see many of their players competing in the top leagues.

Hes playing with better players & he plays about 20-25 minutes.

Rob Kozluk had an under-21 cap and Ben Godfrey made an appearance for the first team. It means nothing, he needs to perform for the Blades or hopefully get dropped for a better midfielder in january, whether that be a returning Arblaster or a new midfielder.

He’s the same player, for both teams, he doesn’t morph into something different.
The difference is,he’s playing with better players around him, who also have the confidence, of winning regularly.
He’s become an easy scapegoat, on here, from some of our fans who love a scapegoat.Instead of finding fault, in a young talented lad, all the time, maybe they should get behind him.At the moment, there is no reliable alternative to him in our midfield.It’s a sad fact, but true.
He’ll be one of the first on the team sheet, for Sunday, and rightly so.He’ll be trying his bollocks off, for the cause, and all those blades who are there, will also,be right behind him.Rightly so!
What a time to get that first goal Sydie.

I take great comfort in that at actual games, the fans are right behind him, it's only the armchair 'experts' on this particular forum who have him scapegoated....

Says it all really.

If it was up to all those Sydie whingers on here, he wouldn’t have been playing, and he’d have been at home resting with his feet up.Hope this finally shuts em up.

Got his third assist yesterday and in a big game, great improvisation for that ball as well. More of the same please Sydie, thats much more like it
