nuddy created loads of chances for us, he didnt know what he was going to do next so the defender hadnt a clue
 
Used to love Ndlovu great energy and Franz Carr I was only a wee nipper but good player by all accounts this current team you can tell their all nervous which is obvious someone needs to grab the bull by the horns and take initiative be like Beckham against Greece
 



How amazing would it be if we signed Skriri Dembele from Peterborough for 5 million quid AND bright osayi Samuel from QPR for 12.5 million?

Both are rapid, tricky wingers with end product. Both young and will improve. Dembele has been playing more centrally this year. These are two realistic signings and they’re attainable and would completely change the way we play, how we look, the threats we pose, the flexibility we could play with (playing wide and stretching games, playing on the break when needed), they’d both probably tolerate relegation with us as a top end Championship season with Sheff Utd next year would still be a step up from where they are now.

Having said all that, the idea of us signing even one of them is absolutely laughable. We’re happy to spend 20+ on a Mcburnie but when it comes to these type of players we just never seem to be in for them. We just watch other people sign them and stand from afar as they develop into world class talents elsewhere.

The art of dribbling is virtually dead. When I was growing up in the '40s and 50s every club had tricky ball players, either as wingers or inside forwards (or both). Stanley Matthews was the most famous footballer in the country - if not the world. We had the legendary Jimmy Hagan.
Today, if any youngster shows exceptional ball skills I suspect that they are coached out of him so that he can be a good 'team player'.
