We need a settled team , that's yet another different line up we have had, I've lost count of the permutations at the back and up front but we have only played 7 league games and we have played 4 different keepers that must be a record surely. So I think until we have a settled team and formation results will be inconsistent but it's moving in the right direction hopefully

Agree, but What do you want him to do if Davies and Osborn have injuries, berge has Covid and we’ve new signings.

I think he’d love to play a more settled side but he’s really not had a chance, after experimenting to find a side that can create something.

suspect it’ll be another change with n’daiye taking a knock today .

I think once we have a settled back 5 then we'll start to build genuine momentum.

Olsen + Baldock Egan Davies looks strong then it's just a question of deciding whether you perseverance with RND's learning curve or go back to hoping Stevens has more left in the tank. I can actually see Stevens coming back in. Having experience at the back at this level is no bad thing. Stevens had a poor spell but he'd be a quality operator at this level.

Too many players need moving on and removing from the first team.
Trouble is we are stuck with them for now as our recruitment has been horrendous over the last 2 years.
The lack of synergy between defence, midfield and attack is frightening

Of course we do, but we're not going to get one this early on. He's assessed what he was left, realised some of the dross he's been left with, and is trying to work out who is any good or not. Hopefully he will realise Robinson is piss poor after tonight.

The goalkeepers is interesting, as he's openly stated he was trying them out. He did this then signed Olsen.

It'll be a few more weeks until he knows his best 11 IMO.

There’s a massive change of improvement, he getting his noggin round it, Rome wasn’t built in a day and there is a massive improvement, give him chance to get rid of the shit and build
Gutted 2-2 but I think that’s what we needed, he needs to figure it out

We seem to be getting closer to a settled team now. Once Davies is back you have a pretty clear preferred back 5 and they should improve by playing together.

We need to remember that Robinson is bad at football though once injuries happen.

Other than Robinson starting I was more than happy with that starting line up. It was arguably 10 of our best 11.

Re defenders would Curtis Davies have been a decent addition? He’s playing for a relatively low wage compared to what he fleeced Derby for previously. I always thought he was a decent big guy at the back

We're getting there, Slav's still only a handful of games in, he's had a few changes to make and new players coming in... So its taking longer than we're used to... but we're almost there....

Theres flexibility now for players like Berge to drop in and out. But the spine needs to be settled.

Olsen now gets a run of games,
Hopefully Egan/ Bash alongside Davies
Gibbs-White and Ndiaye seem to be pivotal now, as do Fleck and Norwood...
Billy is pretty much irreplaceable now, which is worrying as everything goes through him and he takes longer to recover from knocks, though McBurnie came in saturday and did a job (and an assist)...

The same synergy that has produced 8 goals in two matches ?

We are scoring goals again. We just need to tighten up a bit more at the back.

Same could’ve been said for Fleck and he is looking great now, No harm in rotating Stevens and RND

imo i’d be picking Stevens vs Hull, he’s much more solid defensively and i think he could settle well in the traditional LB role

Olsen will bring stability over time.

Egan and Baldock - solid

RND - will be better with a decent LCB to cover him defensively. Would stick with him unless Stevens comes back as the player he once was.

LCB - are we cursed? JOC out for 2 seasons, no replacement has been anywhere near suitable, then when we finally snag one who could be, he gets injured as soon as he walks in the building. I would put Egan in that position and then go with Bash or Lopata (for the aerial presence) at RCB.

Everything in front of this is now 100% improved, so fix the above and we are flying.

I came out of yesterday gutted about the result but optimisic for the rest of the season. Players are returning- Davies, Stevens, Moose 😉 & McGoldrick.

RND & Robinson just aren't very good at defending, maybe RND is effected by playing with Robinson I'm not sure but I feel positive. A lot more positive than I did after the Huddersfield game
