We look a different team to last season

Now I know it's a league above and all that blah blah..

But our style of play is totally different, we go from having a corner to being back to our keeper within 3 passes, then the hendo boots it up but all our players are on halfway resulting in the opposition winning the ball back.

This has been a theme in all games this season I've noticed, which is disappointing because were good enough to play and compete but it's like were choosing not to, and being far too cautious.

Henderson is overrated. We need to splash the cash for a quality keeper in Jan.

At fault for 1st, weak handed for 2nd, poor distribution, beat at nearpost last week. Not good enough.

Compare Hendos distribution to Kaspar Schmichaels. Most of the time, Kaspars hits a Leicester player. Hendo, its the opposite, its ainlessly plodded forward.

We do have to remember we are playing Chelsea away from home.

But yes we have been poor, we are not showing for the ball and look a little scared out there. Having to go long as no other options available. We’ve looked decent when we’ve knocked it about and take two stupid errors away and if Sharp was on the pitch instead of Robinson it would be 0-1.

Why? You were correct. I know it will get ignored because of the result but we have been poor for large chunks of the games from the start. Playing it long when we’re clearly bad at it. Then we decide to try it our old way and we’re suddenly a good team. They need to wake up and start the games our way.

We were beyond awful first half
Can you not see the difference in how we played first half and how we played second ?
Forget about the mistakes the players looked frightened
Shouldn't need a rollicking from wilder to make them realise they are good enough
Hope this is the last time we see that kind of lack of belief or bravery

There was plenty to criticise in that first half performance but many in Shoutbox had us relegated, dropping half the team, etc. Have some faith in this team and this manager, they’ve earned it.
