If ever there were a heads up, there's quite a few people on here waiting to throw everything they've got at you as soon as you even hint at criticising the club. You say anything remotely critical, and their heads perk up like Meerkats. It's sad and a shame for the forum.

I hope so...I believe the lad's contract is up in the summer so I'm guessing we've put a deal together for the lad and put it to him...I also read that Fulham had to pay the remaining cash ( £1 million) to his former club based on his appearances ( which may or may not have had something to do with him not playing at the time of our last show of interest)..so they'll be wanting that back I guess.

Yeah. We bought a RB in League One for £1.5-£2m pounds. One of the biggest wastes of money ever.

A perfect example of fans being sucked into the mindset that bigger money = better players. It just proves you can spend what you like, if you haven't got any nous about you, you're going nowhere.

It isn't about the money, it's about the player. Adding zeros to the end of contracts doesn't make for better players.

So the idea that we didn't buy anyone last January is wrong, right?

You forgot Done also..do you rate Done or Brayford?

I thought Sharp was a waste of money and we had the ideal strikers to win promotion in Done, Adams and McNulty

The sad fact in general terms is that we are a selling club only doing a little bit of incoming business to keep the natives quiet
There doesn't seem the necessary will to propel the club upwards.

We bought players in January, what's your point?

I don't particularly rate Done, no, but he'd do for this season.

Bradford's probably our best player, but it was a mistake signing him and wasn't worth what we paid.

At £500,000 in League One, it is a waste of money. A young and athletic player on the rise and in the required position and it's different. It'll never be the case we'll have to pay that amount of money for a player in his mould at this level. Especially in a position as low in priority as it was at the time.

The point being the OP stated we 'never buy anyone/broken fax machine' we DIDN'T buy anyone last Jan etc etc...whatever your or my opinion of said players is, the fact remains, we bought them...

I've been observing your posts for a while, and I honestly don't think you're a blade.

You're not serious enough, it's like you're taking the piss with every post which I appreciate you might have to do with a name like that, but the novelty's worn off.

We bought players last January, and if the OP's claiming we didn't(I don't think he is), then he's wrong.
