if we are talking about mceveley then its a wank from me

Was at work so can't give a true vote, on attempts on goal and corners it could have been a different result

I didn't go, but going by the result, it was all three!
Billy scored so that's a small plus for me o_O

Billy was way off the pace today.

The intrnational break did us no good at all . Bury had the momentum from last week. Lets also rember Colchester will not be a easy ride..

Adkins needs to get them loan defenders in now and not worry about the 93 day loan period , We need points , players in , to we keep pace with the top two.

Also forget about the clubs above us falling down , with players missing in the future , due to suspensions , injuries , and having a small squad . We have a big squad but only a small amount of players ,who are good enough for the first team.

Bad day at the office , but we have major players coming back from injury/ in October . Pity its September.

You'll see some people say today that Bury's winner was a wondergoal and that it was worthy of winning any match, I'm sure. This ignores a few points. First of all, he tried it a couple of times already (including one when the whistle had long gone). The players should have known he liked a pop. Secondly, he was completely unchallenged. Thirdly, Bury had been in possession for ages when he let fly with the blades content to let them keep hold of it with nary a challenge put in.

I genuinely saw a team give up at 1-1 today. I've never seen that before. You'd never have guessed that we'd had the week off, not Bury.

Also, we conceded shortly after both set of subs today, which was annoying. I sort of hope JCR had a little injury or some such because otherwise taking him off was criminal. It's not his fault that for the second home game running Sammon can't finish the sitters he creates. And Billy doesn't got off lightly either, he missed a golden chances from Freeman's pull back after Freeman and Campbell-Ryce had opened Bury up.

Furthermore, how many times are we going to let Leon Clarke piss all over us? At this stage I'd buy him just so he can't score against us any more.

Was he? Oh dear, seems like a bad day at the office for all the team then?

Sammon did he usual 'causing lots of problems but missing sitters' bit whereas Sharp was largely anonymous but got the goal. On paper a good combination but today just not dangerous enough, especially when Captain Calamity has another 'mare and the team as a whole stop trying with 10 minutes to go.

We dominated the match and were very positive and gave a lot of effort.

Think the lack of effort was more about deflation.
We had Bury on the ropes with constant pressure on their goal and then they go up the other end and score and worldy. Massive kick in the bollox that.

Let's face it were were robbed today and you can't legislate for bad luck.
Keep played to that level and we'll finish top 2.

At least we've only got a few days to wait to get this out of our system when we play Colchester.

Ref was awful & lost plot by half time 1st time ive ever said 'ht has come at good time for the ref' so he could restore some order but we didnt help ourselves old adage is still true if you dont take your chances dont win games salmon miss a few easy chances 1st particularly that 1 straight to keeper 6yd box, then a few more in 2nd half when billy managed to put tye easy sidefoot over bar but not all bad 12 pts from 6 games is good because as long as we keep avg 2pts a game 92pts is good enough for promotion in any league

Fair play to bury the 2nd goal was quality i was right behind it as bent into top corner but Id love to know what going thru mceveley & Howard minds for that 3rd goal to ley clarke lob him

The points I noted where we came unstuck were:

Billy ironically didn't look sharp.

Reed very good going forward and defensively but let himself down with too many stray passes and flicks.

Edgar didn't look as solid as usual.

Keiron Wallace is ok, just ok. Could'nt fathom why he came on. Same applies to Flynn.

Woolford made some bad decisions when going forward, chose the wrong pass or lost the ball a few times.

Clarke should have been off. He was giving Freeman a few digs on the blind side of the officials while they were on the floor, the sneaky cunt.

McEveley wasn't that bad but when he clangs, he clangs hard.

Nobody did anything special enough today. A draw would have been a fair result.

I opted for 'dogshit'.

Pretty much 5/10 all round today. Even Edgar was gash.

Non, no, no, no and no.

We gave up before the worldy. That's my point. After McNulty came on, the team showed no urgency whatsoever. We let Bury dominate possession and didn't put a challenge in or close them down. That's what led to the goal, not the other way around.

Aside from JCR, who set up sitters for Bill and Connor, which were missed.

In fairness he played in Freeman who set up Sharp. He was heavily involved in the build-up, though.

Any idea why he was taken off? Injured?

I thought Keiron Wallace was the big positive today. He seemed to get us going in midfield and won the penalty. Wouldn't be against him playing left back on Tuesday.

If want a keeper look no further...........

Worrying that two physical well discipline big sides have stuck 7 past us in 2 games. Tbh we played with much less determination than Bury did.

I thought JCR was worth 7/10 for being lively industriuos and getting crosses in. The rest of the team looked very average. Very disappointing. On that performance we will struggle against Colchester.

Yeah I agree, JCR was decent and shouldn't have been taken off. Woolford was OK but shouldn't play on the right.

I think JCR was getting tired, he ran he socks off and did very well.

Just back in, glass of Bushmills in hand. None of the choices given. Disappointing result certainly.

As a quick thought, Bury set out from the start to disrupt the game and their plan worked a treat, well done them. And whilst I am not blaming the referee for the defeat, by crikey, he managed to get my head repeatedly scratched.

Some of our lads need to just "go for it" at times. Woolford is guilty of getting the ball on the break, running ahead and then almost stopping to look for an option, just keep going, and if no one is in a supporting position, go for it, and bang one at the keeper. That was one of the things I liked about Jamie Ward, he would bomb forward, get as close as he could to goal and if not options available or he had defenders coming to close him down, he would just bang it at goal.

I didn't think it was too bad of a performance. That first goal, was a stonewall foul on the half way line. We should have cleared our lines. But up until then, we didn't look like conceeding. The penalty looked outside the area but glad it was given and Sharp finished like a man with confidence and it was game on.

What followed was an absolute freak of nature goal, reminded me of jags against Leeds but probably better. The 3rd goal was on the break.

Was impressed with Bury today though, they have top 6 written all over them.
