That's not the objective.

The objective is to somehow get 7 more points over the season, and leave us in a decent enough state to be able to launch a 2024-2025 promotion bid from the championship.
Bringer of passion…come on Neil get tha sen here

Gerrim in at least shit like Bournemouth would have to break sweat to take the points. Could anyone imagine Colin standing for a performance like that he'd fuck them players up hill and down dale.

The dressing room would be shaking metalblade and rightly so

We should be trying to stay up, then regroup. You can’t quit before Christmas ffs. There are teams around us, we can get out of this, admittedly not playing how we did yesterday

Which means any new manager after him will take over a side that’s played hoofball for six months. Which, funnily enough, is more or less what we are stuck with now.

When has he ever motivated a PL side enough to keep them up? The last thing we need is an old sticking plaster.

We could get a boost. Not saying we will, but there's not exactly many cards to play. For me, Hecky gets until next week. Lose against Burnley and he's got to go.

Boost? More likely a Flake…..

I love the logic though, l know he might be shit but he has been shit for us before.

How many points did we get under him when he managed us in the PL?

If we end up getting a third of that this time around that'd be a huge improvement on our current trajectory

I'd prefer it if the alternative is Wilder. I'm confident he'd give us an identity and some fight at least. Would buy us some time to get a longer term appointment in.

I'm not sure right now is a good time for anybody to come in, so we might as well look at a motivator to get us to the end of the season. Then start afresh.
