Today, a guy called Scott visited BDTBL. He is the guy who is walking to all 92 clubs in the Football League.
It was great to meet him actually, very interesting guy. He is a Pompey Fan and started his walk from there. He is also part of the Fans Consortium trying to purchase the club. Needless to say, this walk has nothing to do with that. From his Blog, he seems to have had 1 day off, Xmas Day, where he was up near Bradford. From what I gathered today, he has traveled all the way up the West Coast line and after visiting the North East is now on his way back down. I presume he'll finish at Bournemouth or near to that in the Spring.
He is doing the walk for Prostate Cancer and so far has visited 56 clubs, so naturally has 36 left. He will visit Hillsborough tomorrow and then onto Chesterfield on Sunday. The total distance covered is equivalent to walking from Lands End and John O'Groats and back again 3 times.
Sheffield United has donated a signed shirt to his plight and he has asked me if I can Auction this off with all Monies going to his Just Giving page for Prostate Cancer.
