Well at least those 6 fingered goons have got their commupence

Does what he always does. Post any old bullshit with no information, beyond something vague and cryptic and usually surrounding current ‘known’ events/rumours (funnily enough where there is a lot of open source info floating around). This then leads to people interpreting it how they want, usually spinning it positively in a vain of hopefulness.

I take any “ITK” stuff with a very large pinch of salt and ignore the vast majority of it as plain attention seeking bollocks.

not reight bothered. rangers mates say he's good but not worth 8 megs.. if the guy was bothered he'd have signed by now

He ain’t the one deciding is he?
Pure guesswork, but I’m favouring more towards he’s very interested but we won’t pay the money the others will. Hence the stand off.

To be fair to Sunjihi, I don’t believe he bullshits, there’s probably always some substance behind what he says, he can just be a bit premature.

My guess is that we were close to agreeing a fee (probably £5-6m) with Ipswich and (informally) agreeing personal terms with Waghorn’s agent. At this point the Agent has let Lampard know that the deal’s nearing completion with us and they have intervened at the 11th, turned the player’s head with a more attractive proposal (wages, promotion chances, opportunity to work with Lampard) and now they’re his preferred destination.

I think he, and his agent, will do everything to ensure that the move to Derby goes through, but the move can’t happen until Vydra leaves. I doubt he will stay at Ipswich, he may indeed join us if the Derby move collapses, but I doubt it. I wouldn’t think Wilder would like feeling like he’s second best either. We should move on and revisit this towards the end of the Transfer Window if we haven’t sorted anything and Waghorn is still on the market.

I think he’s keen on coming here. I also think Ipswich would rather sell to us because of the better up front payment we’re offering (Sheffield Star)

They’re obviously wanting as much as they can get, understandably and I can see it going down to who holds their nerve the longest. Don’t forget Ipswich will be looking to strengthen their own squad with any monies received.

According to the Star Derby are willing to pay the full £8m on promotion. Can see why Ipswich aren’t snatching their hand off.

We look to be offering more cash than Derby upfront and guaranteed, not dependant on as many pie in the sky clauses.
