If Clough were given the same resource that Wilson had when sacked whilst in 5th spot in the league then I'd say he shouldn't be sacked

The fact he's brought in two full teams of players and spent around the £2m mark in Jan alone (massive for lge 1) and we're currently playing absolutely sh1te with no real reason to assume things will change anytime soon, says to me we have big problems

We seem to be void of ideas. Void of direction. Void of pretty much everything

Who's shoulders should that fall on? Well the law according to McCabe says the manager. Just look back to recent sackings in Blackwell and Wilson. Where things that much different then?

Clough and anyone else can blame the players as much as they like, but the fact is, they are Clough's meticulously sought out players. Clough and Garner must wear blinkers. Honestly, to keep picking out players that are Derby and ex-Derby is one great big fkin weakness. Yes he knows those players and therefore he knows what he's getting, but where has it got us? The end result after all his signings are, we are no nearer having a real decent side

The one recent shining light being Done! Correct me if I'm wrong, but this fella is one of the few that isn't a Derby, or ex-Derby player! Learn owt there Nige?

WTF is this pro-zone stuff about ? Surely he has not ditched something that all the top clubs use ? My God he really is NON LEAGUE NIGEL.

What's this? Why would he not want to use Pro-Zone?

There were a couple of blokes in Blades trackies who made their way over from the dugout to the gantry, then huddled round a laptop at the Rochdale game the other week. I assume they were the data bods, or unless they were watching one's dog shagging the other's dog?

Have ypu been sending videos out...again?

We collect and deliver pro zone videos after games for some clubs ,main ones are Leeds and Millwall ,make what you will of that.

Football is a game of confidence, I think we can all agree that. The 2 polls on the fans confidence in NC showed a drop in confidence over a disasterous run of results yielding only 2/12 points, relegation form.

Over part of that period a straw poll saw a drop of fans confidence in NC from a positive 60/40 to a 50/50 split. Do not concern yourself I am not starting another poll Silent Blade but no doubt if we did it would have dropped again.

So, fans confidence is low, player confidence is low and it's obvious from his comments and general attitude / demeanour that NC's confidence is low. Fans are arguing with fans about who is to blame and while that debate goes on the gap from top to us has grown and the gap from us to 7th has all but gone (game in hand accepted).

So how should the cycle be broken? The fans want the players to give them something to chear and the players want the fans to lift the club and neither is happening. Like two kids squabbling a grown up has to intervene, enter Mr C.

It's his job to bash heads together and throw some energy at the next 10 (hopefully 13) games, make the players grow a pair, give the fans something to cheer and go out fighting not offering platitudes about "another good point on the road" both fans and players know that is BS!

So come on Nige, you are the only one who can get the train back on the track, it's your job if not your passion.

Against teams in the bottom third of the table. Crap results which can't be blamed on mean spirited home fans.

I even heard a scurrilous rumour that some of those sainted away fans turned on the team at Scunthorpe! Obviously I know this must be a fabrication.

He's the right man. We are getting some pretty good away points - Scunthorpe, Walsall etc and some pretty close defeats at home to power teams like Fleetwood.

Didn't think the fans were inappropriately negative yesterday (apart from the negative running commentary from a bloke near me). A couple of "you don't know what you're doing"s.... justified from where I was stood at the time. Players acknowledged the fans and received a half decent applause in return. And from the celebrations after our goal, the changing room does not see to be broken and split.
