Well after reading that I think I will have to have five minutes reading Porktalk to even things up. What does seem a regular occurrence though is how most teams seem to be having their off day when they play us.

I’ve a bit of a soft spot for Wolves as well. Went to Molineux for an FA Cup game when I was nine and the turnstyle operator let me duck under for nowt. “Keep yer money lad” -saved me six shillings.
Crap game mind, we lost three nil. Can still see the ball hitting a post then rebounding onto a diving Hodgy’s back and going in.
Six shillings!
Were you in the Executive Box?

One guy here has embarrassed himself

Typical football know nowt idiot. Trot out some cliches like 'you should never miss from twelve yards' (if that's the case, why are so many penalties missed, it's one of those sentences that sounds like it should be true but doesn't actually reflect reality) and, of course 'we shouldn't be losing to teams like this'.

Any side in this league would not have relished the task tonight.

or next week mate and the week after that and the week after that and repeat.

Cheers Panchero!

Some level headed comments, some "ex-player" syndrome comments about Leon, a few nasty digs at him as well. He looked dangerous all night, and committed himself 100% for the first goal. He is not fat or lazy, he is actually quite quick for a big lad, as the unclean found out on Sunday.........

Thanks Roy, they are a pretty balanced bunch.
Good , fair summing up by a Wolves fan on talksport on the way home too.

I took my mate who is a wolves fan and he said we are the best side he has seen all season.
Now that I did like.

I listened to a bit of talksport on the way home hoping for a mention of our game but it was, as ever, Champions League only. Its the Talksport lottery I call it. The lottery been which club are we talking about tonight?! Take your pick from Chelsea, Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal or Spurs.

Aside of my Talksport rant, I was impressed with Wolves support. Always respected them to be honest. Much prefer them to Albion too, but that's probably due to Megson and the Battle of BL, where if you speak to a Albion fan they literally make it out to be a battle like something out of WW1!

'They couldn't even be arsed to bring their top scorer one!'

Ha!

The error in the above quote is my own, not the Wolves fan's!

Got to echo the praise for their fans in here, I must admit I wouldn't have had them down as such a gracious lot.

My journey home is about an hour and a half and I hated myself for doing it, but I listened to Talksport last night. One of the hosts was Jason Cundy, not sure who the other one was, but they hardly need callers at all, they talk over them and poo poo their contributions. It made me realise how even handed RS is.

Anyway, they featured 2 Blades as well as a Wolves fan, in fact they had a grunter on as well. As the presenters knew nothing about Championship football, they had to let the callers (all decent) get on with it, apart from reading through a list of result of the different clubs recent results from which their conclusion was probably that Wolves and TRAWW are doing OK and the oinkers aren't doing so well.

Anyway, I'll be back in the bath, beer in hand, for tonight's Football Heaven. I'm expecting another good one, with a meltdown from Mental Mick ably supported by Mark The Pitsmoor Armed Robber, who'll have put the Samaritans on hold for a few minutes.

Agreed! At least there were some callers from our league. They do feature the Championship at times but not as much as they should, in my view.

As for Radio Sheffield, I'm one who really enjoys Radio Sheffield, but I know some don't agree. I totally get the disapproval with the Star from the Save the Owls campaign. I'm just listening now to the play back of last nights football heaven but its lacked a Pitsmoor Owl rant yet! To be fair I'd be ranting if I was watching that crap for the price they charge!

I was there that day and their fans were not so nice in those days. They roughed up a young blade supporter, throwing his United hat and scarfe into a garden. Ours were not much better that day either with British Rail having to stop the train home twice through vandalism. I'm glad to see that they have grown up.

Fair play to their accurate and sporting comments. Thanks again Roy

There will be NO meltdown from Kim Yung Mick who steadfastly tows the NKT party line. It will be about 'proportion' and 'regrouping' for Sunday. He might even manage an "I'm not going to talk about United but..." comment. Probably about Wilder's lack of class and our fans kidney punching a disabled cancer ridden baby seal.

MTPAR (or MTPP as he prefers to be known) will be firmly in the 'Carlos Out' camp:
"I've always supported Carlos, yeah, but I've been finkin about dis, yeah. It's like he's crap an I've been finkin, yeah, that he has to go, right?"

Should be a good listen and if Staton is on, listen to hear his tears of sadness hitting the microphone, as his beloved Wendy implode around him.

I might have to revise my opinion of Wolves after last night. They've been very complimentary, here's just one example

I should point out at this stage, that Crab Translation Services, a division of Crab Industries, recently signed a deal with Twitter to provide Translation services for tweets.

Due to some issues with the software translating Brummie to proper English, there have been some errors, of course we unreservedly apologise. Here is a transcript of what was actually Tweeted.

"The Blades fans were a shower of Bastards, especially @tylerdurden who we hope has an unfortunate incident with a piano falling on his head really soon"

Sorry mate :)

Cheers Roy. I've noticed there's a pattern developing in these 'View froms'.

Every team we play, it seems have an 'off day' and couldn't get their 'passing game going'. It seems that their supporters have failed to recognise and acknowledge that their team have been 'unable to get their passing game going' because they've been run ragged by the fittest, hardest working, most organised and committed team in the Championship.

I'm sure come May it might have dawned on them it wasn't down to bad luck :)

To most it will have but the pigs will use the "they're lucky, they just happened to play every other team on their off days" :D

I've always liked wolves.

One of the first matches I ever went to was wolves v spurs semi final at the Sty.

The old pig kop without it's roof was a sea of black and gold.

Spurs fans suffered from overcrowding on leppings lane and had to sit on the side of the pitch.

There was an unjust penalty decision that sent it to a replay I think.

Spurs won the cup against man city.

Wolves are a proper club, with real history, they filled their end on a wet w&?ds night. Their comments seem pretty spot on.
I was on the kop that day VB
All I can remember is some Wolves fan trying to attract his mate out of earshot for about 10 minutes.
Kept shouting 'Booboo' or summat.
DId me 'eead in.
