Pubs are dying, and when asked why people didn't go to the pub in the 90's their standard answer was always "Euuggh the selfish smokers ruin it for me"

Well since they banned smoking the pubs aren't dying anymore......They're dead. Killed by people who complained about smokers who never went to the fucking pub anyway.

Now, these pricks have to find something else to complain about, so vapers become the target even though they produce no smoke and no lingering smoke affect whether used inside or outside.

I am, and have been for many years since giving up smoking.
Vaping is like anything else, it is better not to do it, but it is a thousand times healthier and cleaner than smoking.

And definitely less harmful to the body than a self righteous do gooder who criticises vapers and then goes in the pub and drinks eight pints every day.

Vaping also has the same problems regarding cheap, fake, badly made products as almost any other product on the market. So anyone that is going to vape should buy from proper vape outlets like mirage and totallywicked rather than the shocking cheap, poisonous, mainly chinese products sold in petrol stations

It doesn't just scar your lungs, it fills them with oil vapour, and thats not good, it basically will eventually give you pneumonia, but the oil doesn't come out and your body can't deal with it.
Look at what's happening in America...... its just as bad as smoking, could actually be worse.

I can't think of anyone I know well who vapes but if I come across someone I'll ask them to do that. It sounds interesting and I would be interested to see the result.
This idea that it's 'only vapour' has always intrigued me - what's the point of vaping if it's only vapour?

It isn't but it can really stink.
It is another example of people not respecting others around them.
I am lucky these last 2 seasons, the dirty scrote who sat next to me has moved now. He came in late every game, stunk of beer, vaped throughout, went for a piss every 15 minutes. At least he was only in his seat about 40 mins out of the 90 I suppose.
It smelt like a really cheap air freshener you get in town centre bogs. Probably had a name like 'Blueberry urinal' .

Can only speak for myself but having a cloud of smelly vape in my personal space is unwelcome and the jury hasn't delivered a verdict yet.

It doesn’t bother me too much but I do think it’s antisocial to be blowing horrible smelling bubblegum vapour into the noses of everyone around you every two minutes, and if you can’t go 45 minutes without nicotine I think it reflects far worse on them than my objections to it.

Yeah you are spot on. At work we sometimes get colleagues logging an issue where their laptop is "dead". We know what the cause is once we get it back when you can smell the vape residue on them and when I've opened them up thick oily substance often brown all over the innards. They forget when they vape next to a laptop the internal fan sucks it inside and it gums up the works. If thats going inside your body then yuck.

However, air pollution is very important in almost any thoughtful discussion of health (and this is not a direct pop at vapers btw). I could say I’m not bothered about wars, or kids carrying knives, or pig fans saying horrible things, because it doesn’t seem to impact directly on me, and there are more important things. I'm not worried about the inevitable death of our universe, whether it's the big rip or the big crunch there won't be anyone around to see or feel it. Any civilizations that may be in the Universe will suffer many horrible fates before that.

Regarding vapers, as I've said earlier, it is healthier not to do it at all, but as a substitute for smoking they are excellent, everyone has their vices and if a person doesn't it makes them weird in my opinion, almost not human. The only thing that does bother me about vapers are the throwaway types, people use them for one day then throw the plastic item away wherever they finish using it.

I have two vape machines, each of them guaranteed to last a year but both of them have lasted for three years so far because the build quality is excellent. When I finish with them I send them back for recycling when buying new ones.

My vapes also don't produce enormous clouds of vapour like some do, I don't see the point of that and can see why people would be annoyed by it because it is totally unnecessary

All that is fair enough, but the post I responded too went a bit further than that about being ‘not bothered’. Mebbe you react like Wilder, got ‘rattled’ and went a bit too ‘defensive’

Not a chance. They die, on average, 10 years earlier - saving the country an absolute fortune. The numbers aren't even close.
