Updates from the Wilder

I'd like to send a message to those who do go on the pitch, but it may well be a waste of server space as most of them probably can't read.

When you start 'fronting up' to the Chessy fans/players, leave young Joe Rowley alone. He is a 17 year old Blade, from a family of Blades.

FFS some of the posts on this thread regarding tufty and knill going elsewhere is just absolutely bollocks!! Wilder is at the club he's supported since he was a little lad, he's played for us and enjoyed every minute of his time here!. Now him and knill have just masterminded the best season that us blades have witnessed in a long while!!. After all that he's going to chuck his toys out of his pram and walk out just because we may be signing an ex player who by the way is still a chesterfield player and will be until at least July when his contract ends I think?. Please just get a fucking grip and enjoy the party on Sunday!!. Utb

Reading between the lines here , but ........ it looks very much like CW's had the Ched Evans signing imposed on him by KM

God help us :(

Don't know what lines you're reading.

CW has basically made a "no comment" statement and explained his reasons which make total logical sense.

I've read between those lines very carefully CHL. I've studied the gaps with a magnifying glass, even the spaces between the words too. And you know what? I don't see anything to suggest what you say is anything other than nonsense...............

You'll be glad to hear.;)

Some absolute bollocks being posted on here , get a grip. Wilder aint going anywhere just yet!

I thought Wilder all but confirm Evans signing, wouldn't he kill it dead if there was nothing in it? Also glad he mentioned the fact its all about the players who have got us up and won the league and hopefully reach 100 points. Wilder leaving? come on now hes only just getting started.

save going on the pitch for the Brook fight in may! (if you've bought the nice expensive seats)

Does it? How so?
I don't know Chris, but I'd wager he's not the sort of guy to tolerate having anything imposed on him, never mind a player!
Exactly this.

Anyone thinking CW would have anything dictated to him cant have been listening to him all season.

I reckon the tea lady will have had to get his authorisation to change the digestives for hon-knobs.

I think I'm sure you're right. But things have gone wrong so often before when they couldn't... And reading his thoughts in the Star supplement on when he leaves United began to bring back a frame of mind I thought I had got over.

Understandable, clubs are going to be interested in Chris Wilder, he's done a fantastic job here and at his previous clubs.

However, Chris Wilder is *interested in Sheffield United.

Does anyone really think that money was the primary reason Chris Wilder chose to manage SUFC?

*absolutely fucking mad about

He can't say 'statistically'...

WILDER OUT!

Agreed. When we’re a top half Prem club he’ll leave for the England job where he will win the world cup. Til then, he’s going nowhere.

We have all loved Chris Wilder this season. We have all loved the unity at the club this season. So let's ALL do what the man asks, and stay off the pitch at the end of the game.
Based on the pitch invasions that we've seen so far, I doubt that many of the target audience will respond to pleas or, indeed, be capable of reading them.....

I didn't run on the pitch.
Why are they running on the pitch? To celebrate winning promotion??....no we have done that already.
Win the league??...no we've already done that too.

So why? The manager has respectfully asked the fans to be respectful to his wishes.
That should be enough for people to listen and do as he asks. What better way to pay homage to the man than show him respect at all times.
I won't be there sadly, but it would be nice if the players can accept the trophy, have the fireworks or whatever then lap the pitch and parade the trophy with the fans.
If there is any hint the fans will mob them, then they won't do that.

Next promotion will prove difficult when it comes to pitch invasion control.

Wilder has all the attributes of a seasoned manager, more than capable of handling the press, and in doing so not offering false optimism or despair, exactly what you'd expect in a first class manager.

Like many of us, can't wait to see who Wilder recruits for next season. Who'll replace EEL? I mention this as Ethan seems destined to leave, so who will Chris bring in, someone I hope who can command his area and add to an already decent defence.

There's also talk of another midfielder, the little Turk currently at Walsall seems flavour of the minute with a few of us (me included), but as always, Wilder will assess and make whatever additions he feels we need to improve.

Then we have the question of who might play up front? A certain Chesterfield player seems destined to arrive at the Lane, but I also sense that Wilder won't settle for just one additional forward, he'll certainly want pace and good technical ability, so fascinating times ahead. UTB
