Suppose it depends on how Wilder sees McNulty fitting into the side. If he's willing to give him a go (and it ends up working out!) then I reckon he'll probably end up looking for cover for Freeman and / or further centre half cover.

I might well be wrong but I have a feeling there won't be a marquee signing as that would seem to go against everything Wilder is trying to build. He's got rid of the majority of the high earners and has built a team spirit which could be hindered by a 'big' signing.
