Look I'm just as dismayed as any other blade but you have to admit whenever anything goes wrong at the lane your posting goes through the roof
Think you would have got used to it by now , that's not accepting mediocrity that's accepting reality

I had some great times supporting the team last season but ultimately it ended in failure but it's nothing new is it ? When I started supporting the team we were in div 4 in a ramshackle ground but I loved it and I'm not about to give it up now just because we aren't the best team in the world

Seriously some of you guys need to chill out and realise some people have a different view of SUFC calling people pigs, idiots, thick, knobheads etc does nothing at all to alter those views nor does being able to piss highest up the wall make your personal view any more valid. I just used to enjoy going to games when he was in charge I enjoyed some games under Blackwell , none under robson and certainly enjoyed games last season

Warnock is apparantly going to sign Rodolph Austin from Brann here in Bergen. He's an aggressive defensive midfielder. If the deal does happen i doubt Monty will be signing for Leeds.

We never replaced Michael Brown and that was nearly 10 years ago.

Or and more likely we never had the money to pay him what he and his agent want? Since Warnock got us relegated from The Premiership its just been a steady downward spiral. Good players come and good players go. Do you know why that is? Because we are playing in the third division and beggars I'm afraid cannot be choosers.

Also, has anyone thought he may have played as well as he did because he knew he only had a one year deal so was always in the shop window? Takes different methods to motivate different players.

No never thought of that. To me he didn't put maximum effort in every game (to put himself in the shop window so to speak) but had more class than anyone else in the division so didn't really need to.

I think, if we could unload those players who are being vastly overpaid, then we could perhaps afford a little bit more to those whose actual performance deserve rewarding. Radical eh?

I can remember the great TC wandering about the pitch looking disinterested many a time and getting an earful from the old John St terracing... only to look up and drop the ball 40 yards on Woody's toes a minute later.

Not really but this is sufc where the only thinking outside the box is done by the opposition. Problem is G2000 we are reaping back the warnock years where quantity ruled over quality and someone's ability to pass a football came second to the ability to take them out.
