In 15 appearances our form whilst Cannon is on the pitch is W4 D7 L4 our actual form in those games is W8 D1 L6

In the 691 minutes Cannon has been on the pitch we've collectively scored 8 goals. That's approx 1 goal per 86 minutes.

In that same time period we have collectively conceded 12 goals. Tom Cannon himself has contributed 1 goal and 1 assist.

And let the records show: He missed an absolute sitter today vs Blackburn. Criminal.

For anyone thinking Cannon is worth it and the answer to our scoring problems and who aren’t Wilder is a fucking genius fan boys, may I refer you to tonight and Isidor and Rudoni as players FFS. Complete strikers with position, power and pace. Then if we have time we can look at Bundi at Plymouth and Sargeant at Norwich amongst others. Don’t want to get on his back, but seriously the difference is stark.

You watched Coventry v Sunderland and your first thought was to come on here and slag Cannon off?
Bit weird that

Don’t want to get on his back either but strongly agree with this

Bonus stat: In the 4 games we've played since he signed where Cannon had ZERO involvement our form is P4 W3 D1 L0. In those games We've scored 7 and conceded 1.

Not first thought. Neither is it slagging off when the truth is shown. It would be slagging off if I didn’t have a reasonable point of view. It is reasonable to point to players who do demonstrate the abilities we might expect of a striker in comparison to the one we paid quite a lot for who er, doesn’t.

I blame Widler. And yes I’m weird.

I’ve been on this thread 9 minutes….
Of which ,seven I spent wondering why I was reading it,One, I just drifted off….
and I’ve spent one minute typing.
Which proves without doubt that I’m better than
Tom Cannon.

Cannon more like a blunderbuss couldn't hit the target if he tried

In the 753 minutes Cannon has been on the pitch for us we've collectively scored 10 goals. That's approx 1 goal per 75 minutes.(still not a good figure, but nice to see it shrinking) In that same time period we have collectively conceded 12 goals. Tom Cannon has contributed 1 goal and 1 assist.

Couldn't knock his general workrate last night, nicked it off the centre half 3(?) times but just never looks like he's going to score.
I did notice first half he was pointing/starting to make runs down the channel and we did not play the ball - whether thats the teams confidence in his ability or more evidence that's he's not the right striker for our team I don't know.

He did get a sneaky "assist" on the first goal with a little tug on the keepers shirt as he leapt to beat Moore in the air - possibly ruled out with VAR o_O

One of their fans said summat about the shirt pull on the keeper but I've watched the replay several times and genuinely can't see anything
