What a time to be a Blade. I don't remember being this positive about being a Blade in the last 50 years. Love watching the Blades knowing we give it a go every match. Taking the piss out of Man U at home with one touch passing triangles. Seeing Edna rip it up at Stamford Bridge, draws at Tottenham (should have won) The Emirates. Knowing your team can defend and defend well.
Qualifying for Europe would be a bonus, or would it, who knows. It could well attract players in the summer. Players who may look at Wilder and think I will improve under him. 30,000 plus every game.
In the next two months we have Chelsea, Tottenham, Wolves and Everton to come to the Lane, wow. Life is good being a Blade at the moment. We Blades know this could all change if Wilder left, so in Wilder we trust always. I'm not interested in people who think they know better than him about team selection or tactics, Wilder has my trust even when I don't always see it.
On the other hand I have just popped on the pigs board. Topics of shit crowds, less there than official numbers as season ticket holders staying away. EFL decision, docking points could see them relegated. Some tough fixtures coming up. Bad form not worth watching, crap atmosphere with weak rendition of we'll support you evermore. 11,000 home tickets for City FA cup match.
Imagine come May
Blades finishing 5th, FA cup final and Champions League 2020.21
Pigs Relegated into Sunday League as they like to call it, paying £40 for the privilege or using their 10 year season ticket.
I know I'm dreaming, wake me up someone.
