The U23s are at home on Monday 30 September v Burnley at 1pm at Bramall Lane
The official site claims Morrison, Verrips, Freeman K & Bryan are going to lollop petulantly around blaming the Young Lads for every mistake they make.

Not difficult to understand why Bryan and K Freeman are nowhere near the first team squad.

Has anyone ever actually seen Bryan in the flesh? I'm convinced we've bought Bigfoot and have an impostor playing to trick us into thinking he exists.

January business priorities, especially Freeman. Bryan would probably be just about alright with Egan and Bash alongside him, but Freeman looks like he can't be arsed being a professional footballer anymore.

Kez has had these moments before in his career before. Last time Wilder got a response from him but I think he is finding it much harder now Baldock has upped his game.

I still think Kez can score more goals from that right wing back position than Baldock but other aspects of his game are not good enough.

I don't like being harsh on him because averaged out he's been great for us in his time here, and for all I know he could have personal reasons for his drop off, but right now if Baldock was unavailable and I was manager, I'd play Bash, Egan, JOC and Stevens as a 4 rather than have Freeman at RWB.

Maybe he's saving it for the Premier League chance and he'll suddenly be amazing, but it's risky.

He is not doing enough in the matches he is playing (cup and under 23's) and like you say Bash will probably be in the RWB position instead of him if we needed cover.

I will say. As he's still young. And I feel still developing a little. And, as I've seen him a good old bit in the U23s. I like the look of Kean Bryan. Sure, he's not up to a first team place barring injuries & suspensions. And, he's sort of in limbo between the U23s & the squad. Numbers suggest he isn't going to push into the first team. But, he is a good footballer & has a good skillset.

I’ve been very pleased with Baldock’s displays so far, but I still think use of the ball in the final third could be improved. You saw two instances of that on Saturday. One great opportunity on the right when Robinson fed him after breaking free - cross easily dealt with. The other at the end of the phase following Fleck’s right-footed effort where he does brilliantly to shake off off the defender before tamely crossing straight to Adrian. He has been improving on this, but we need him to up his consistency.

Tinhat time - the shitwasp police will be all over that.

Starting sentences with 'And' and 'But'.
Praising Kean Bryan.

I fear for you.
I really do.
Well, not much actually.

The shitwasp police really get a buzz out of this kind of thing don't they?

Freeman is better at that. I would say Freeman is more of a winger.

Disappointing that Ravel isn't making the impression we were hoping for.

He's been out of top level football for many years, so it's not a great surprise is it.

Maybe some of our 'experts' who were saying he should have been starting recent games might just calm down a bit and give the lad time. He will either come good or chuck the towel in and bugger off, either way it's down to him.

Great reply. He was poor today. Obvs got an easiness on the ball. But, not making anything happen. A turntable. I thought Gribbin was better when he came on.

How’s Micky Verrips look Phil?
I know fuck all about keeping. He looks strong & commanding enough to me. Fairly calm. Not much flapping. Got a mad thing going on - when he catches a cross, he sprints to the edge of the area, looking to distribute. Keeps his legs shut for low shots (winks emoji). I haven't seen anything I'm spectacularly worried about.

That’s exactly how he played against Sunlan. All that ability yet just stood next to our centre halves and seldom drove forward.

This is now Bryans second season of little or no football. Clearly not in CWs plans....... at present.
I just don’t get a young player happy to play fuck all football and make the numbers up.
This lad will be earning a fortune not to play any meaningful football. Especially now we are out of the league cup.

Why was he not sent out for a loan up to January to get first team football?

As had been mentioned numerous times.... 23s football is not pushing players of first team level or 19, 20 year olds that need men’s football.

I've done Freeman K down a bit. As you can see, he remains static after losing the ball. But, then, fair play, he puts a bit of a chase together.
