Birmingham have us worked out currently great pressing by them and any time we get in an advanced position they’re winning it back and transitioning quickly on the break. Whoever has got them prepared for this game has done an excellent job they have our number

Lundstram has been wank so far. He's just sat browsing MMA UFC videos, he's not even watching. Booooo!

Slightly questioning the sensibility of playing Jebbo yesterday when Brewster was on the bench and the U23 final was today.

Hoping for a big 2nd half, if anyone can turn it around it's these lads ⚔

Birmingham look very well prepared for a youth side they’ve got a game plan that’s nullifying us very very well

It’d be interesting to know the ages of the players on both sides. I know we play young players at each level. But what about Birmingham?

Shame they saved their worst performance for the biggest stage, especially as we have a 6-0 aggregate against these in the regular season.

That said, it's almost the U18 team with the age availability.

N'Diaye seems to have dropped off the fade of the earth.

I guess United won’t play N’Diaye until he’s signed a new contract?
Tashae Andall-Gibbons (ex-Academy, still tight with a lot of the boys) reckons he is being frozen out, might see him leave this summer.

Really hope not.

Unlucky young Blades just wasn't to be. Birmingham have some very exciting players for the future. I've been impressed. They provided a real test. Adan George a standout with his all round play and 2 goals.

U23s structure is bizarre. Think we finished 8 points in front of Birmingham (we was champions) but lost a play off final to them. Lol

It’s due to there being a north and south league that are of the same level so the best from the north and best from the south go into a knockout competition to be crowned overall champions. It’s like the champions league you can win your domestic league but still be beaten by someone who finished below you.

Do you know the reasons?
Nothing concrete (only been shown messages from a group chat) but it seems there have been enquiries, his head has been turned and he wants more than we want to give him 🤷‍♂️

Again, nowt concrete. Just the talk between the lads.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him playing in France next season

Extra gauling when we beat them 5-0 and 1-0 in the prior meetings!
