I don’t normally like to be too critical of players’ abilities. After all, they’re all far better at football than I am.

However…

I cannot understand what any manager sees in Luke Thomas. He seems to get outpaced and overpowered every time I see him.
If you could choose a left back to face every week, it'd be him

that was good performance in the circumstances. i can forgive an anonymous last 25. as fatigue was always a factor with 3 tough games in 6 days

but im shocked at Leicester. i had no idea what they were trying tactically aside from hoof it to 39 & im amazed how far they've dropped. theyve gone from winning fa cup to that in under 5 years

The first half was an absolute joy to watch. Clearly Leicester were poor but we didn’t allow them to have any sort of foothold in the game.
We look such a different team going forward this season from last. Much more direct, much more incisive and able to attack in different ways rather than trying to walk the ball into the net.
Hopefully this is a sign of things to come with Wilder. He has nothing to lose by playing positive, attacking football. If he / we fail playing like that at least we will have had a go.
Three quality additions at least required for us to be a realistic playoff prospect but it’s wide open and not a great deal of quality in the division.
Soumare was superb today as were Cannon and Bamford.

Leicester played like a team who hadn't been paid their wages. A special mention for Luke Thomas who has to be the worst left back in the league.

Apart from 10 minutes second half we controlled that game … we just didn’t let them breathe and we were bright and positive in all we did.. we won our 50/50 and 2nd balls… just need to get that better quality in depth this trf window and get rid of the dross

whatever did hecky see in him or were we really that skint

Leicester fans came in numbers and did their best.

Leicester players hardly turned up. You wonder how long a manager can survive performances like that.
its 50/50 on players & managers. because it looks they werent a team. i said about 21 & 7 arguing on the halfway line after we scored our 2nd. & had a few more later on. they was no urgency

but also im baffled i have no idea what tactical plan their boss implemented. the only bright spark was ayew who did more in last 20

NEW YEAR?
Same old brain dead Wilder.
Please please please keep him away from all transfers
And that imbecile Bettis!

Reasons to sack Wilder this team
1. The shite Tanganga captain - Titanic like. 60 minutes coasting at Stoke till his F up costs the goal!
(After ref error)
2. Bindon played out of position than God forbid the left footed centre back he has discarded already
3. Two mediocre centre backs with wing backs.
4. 3 left footed midfield payers but the bloke ignoring the left side but nominally paying there is a light weight slow no 10 who could not tackle a rice pudding.
5. Brooks potentially our MVP played disabled and wasted on the right WRONG wing.
6. Millions wasted on Cannon
7. Shirt/place wasted on Cannon
8. 3 players allowed to attack most - OHare Bamford Cannon must be amongst the very slowest in professional football played in England today.
9. Chuckle brothers tactics employed every game we got two goals up
What will the opposition score if we do go front this time?
2 as last time, 4 as Wrexham, 3 as Preston or luckily last time out against an appalling Stoke just the one gifted by a clown defender but 'thought' to be Captain material.

All assuming he has learnt nothing the past three seasons and there is no sign of that happening.

F off Wilder and COH if they cannot do better than this shite.
I take it that you didn’t turn up today ?

Great win.

Brooks assist for Cannon was brilliant and I thought Cannon had his best game yet, not just the goal but he won us the ball several times when he had no business to.

After chasing down the opposition aggressively for 70 minutes we started to retreat into our own half so the substitutions gave us the fresh legs we needed to get us over the line.

He'll be sacked in the morning

Another one of them games.

We started with intent and a high tempo. Seems pretty clear Leicester were hoping to get to half time at 0-0 whereas we were intent on winning the game.

Altho we played well and looked good you have to wonder what happened to Leicester. For 60 minutes they were half asleep and showed no effort or desire.

In the end it was a surprisingly comfortable and easy win. Well done!

Thought we looked a good side with some players clearly playing with confidence. Was impressed with Bindon, Soumare and even Cannon looked good.

Great to see our young players dominating and deciding the flow and result of a game, and not just a cameo or a good 20/25 minutes.
We outran and outworked them for over an hour and then kept our heads when they actually turned up and decided to play a bit.
Great to see we learned lessons from previous games, and the one at their place and got tight to snuff out their attempts to go forward before they could even develop anything meaningful.
We also put ourselves in the shop window to players who we might be after in the window, they watch that and would be tempted to be part of a squad that is looking up.

That was a good performance from a balanced team but there is still plenty of room for improvement. I am hoping for some big transfers in January.
