I've published my Blog Report from yesterday's U23 3-0 win at Colchester.
That puts us third in the table.
Are the dead balls as good as Norwood's?
Why did the piano stop?
What did the West Ham fan think?
Some Colchester Carrier Bag Firm wisdom.
It's all going on. Clicky Clicky

Done me there Phil, never been on that ground, hopefully next season!

I`m with you on the `ground ` debate, if a Utd side are playing on a recreation pitch, I`m still counting it, and have in the past, so there :p

Were you teetotal this trip Phil?!
No mate. If truth be told. I'm struggling a bit with the Blog's Identity. It easily becomes stale - "Jordan Hallam took the corners & I drank the beer"
Maybe "you're right" - I should always include the beer in the Blog. I drank in Coggeshall, home of Red Fox Brewery, who I don't think I've tried before. So, there would be something to say. Maybe I'll redraft later.

Any standout performances, Ball_Sup (Phil)?
Ky Gordon seems to have bypassed the U18s. Any thoughts on him?
Is Harry Boyes eligible for U18s?

With Semple & Graham on loan. The Heneghan thing not working out. And a preference for 3 at the back. We're having to dig deep into CB resources. (Nominal midfielder) Jordan Doherty filled in there a lot last season. It's really Ferguson, Cantrill & Gordon. Although on his return from long term injury yesterday, Jake Bennett was in the back three - with Ferguson at wing back until the ht reshuffle. Gordon has just leapfrogged into the CB slot "of necessity". Utd had a lot of momentum yesterday & were overbrimming with confidence. But, Gordon did very well. Best I've seen him play as I recall. Toe to toe with a very combative Colchester 9. Gordon is all elbows & knees. Like everything needs to grow into everything. Looks ungainly sometimes. But, certainly got the job done yesterday. CB Tom Weaver was with 18s Saturday (with Belehouan) - but Tom also filled in as a late 23s CB sub yesterday. Gordon has played 18s this season.
Boyes, I'm not sure about age eligibility. But, he's very much U23 core now.
Maybe Gordon, Bennett (half) & York were the standouts yesterday. Bits of Hallam look the part - as always

. Gordon, Bennett
