At least it's a night game. You can't have failed to notice the floodlights are on for every Saturday game at the Lane. Even early ko's.
Perhaps like me United are on fixed terms for gas and leccy. Costs me no more than it did in 2021 when I took my dual fual deal till November 23. Happy days. Crisis what crisis.

Only watched 2 nd half, very impressed with them even though they lost, palace time wasting all half. If thats whats to come in the future it looks ok to me

Palace defended so deep it was really hard for the forwards to find any space at all.

Although one got sent off, I thought the ref was very lenient with the Palace players. Constant shirt-pulling went unpunished every time. They were chucking their weight about from the first minute.
We were the better team but weak defensively on both their goals.
None of our players looked near first team level. I thought 17 year old Hampson was our standout player.

I've not watched this game but it sounds (from the comments) very worrying that conceding slack Goals is a bit endemic across the club not just at the senior level.
Wonder if we encourage players to try and "play" too near our goal rather than getting shut and launching it when teams press us?
It's certainly costing us at first team level.

We did play similar to the first team but neither goals came from us playing out.

I thought we played OK, and as I (and others) said, last night, Palace looked older, bigger and stronger. Not sure if that was true or not, but I know that we usually play younger lads, and our goal scorer was (or should I say, is) 17.

It is worth remembering that Palace are flying at this level. Fifth in U21 Academy Division One. Behind only Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City & Chelsea. We're playing in Division 3.

Watched the game and found myself having the same frustrations as I often have with the first team.

Move the ball quicker from midfield.

The obvious ball to a player out wide is delayed allowing the defenders to react and stop the cross.

We like to take two, maybe three touches, when one will do nicely and maybe catch the opposition on the back foot.
