Cheers Foxy, if they are fielding u15s (I was told that academies play them more after Xmas) then some of the players for both teams will have played with/against my lad in school football or in the Junior League. I know at least 3 are in Wendy u15s/16s (one of them is in the same school as my lad). There are bound to be faces that I remember but probably I would forget their names. I was told that Academies have stopped printing team sheets because of "scouts"

There have been many rumoured reasons, from money saving to stopping scouts, I'd hazard a guess it's somewhere between all the reasons but weighted towards not heightening awareness/making it easy for people to catalog and monitor those playing - not that it takes a wonder scout to identify and dig for details.

In the 18's we usually put it out on Twitter at kick-off if one of us is there and the regulars either know, or get told the team.

I guess it makes sense really, look what happened in a short space of time after we started mentioning a certain young 'un from Chessie with a wonder kid style name
