Top goal scorer material

Agree.

Again he didn't do much and had spells where he disappears a bit
however when he does get involved his link play is decent and he looks hungry to score.

He's gradually improving and it's all looking promising that we might have finally found ourselves a goal scorer.

My 7 year old Grandson thought Campbell was called Chinese Campbell 🤣, now every time he’s mentioned in the comentry it does sound like “Chinese Campbell”. Think it’s gonna stick.

He made a big difference over a Brewster. Hope Brewster isn’t out for another spell.

For Brewsters sake i obviously hope he’s ok

In terms of our team - doesn’t make any difference whatsoever imo

Good finish from him. That doesn't usually go in - even from a right footed player

He might as well start by default now. No one else has staked a strong claim

There seems to be some sort of understanding between him and Moore too and having 2 strikers on is surely worth a try

Unfortunately, I think Brewster getting injured makes quite a big difference.

If we are going to stick with 4-4-2, then we will definitely need 1 or 2 strikers in January ( depending on Brewsters injury).

When we were playing 4-2-3-1, we had Campbell, Moore and Brewster competing for 1 spot, 3 strikers for 1 spot is fine, changing to 4-4-2 means we need 4 strikers for 2 spots, probably why Óne made the bench against Stoke, was he on the bench today?

I don’t view Brewster as a striker at this point. In fact I am not sure what position he was playing today.

We need to be planning irrespective of his fitness. He never looks like scoring.

While I think Brewster is more of a 10 than a striker, he is still our competition for Moore and Campbell if they continue to play as a pairing.

He’s vastly inferior to both of them.
True, but him and Óne are the only competition we have for ST until January, hopefully we can get someone like Cannon in to compete with them.

If you look back at some of our previous seasons in the last 8 years, for most of them we had multiple options at ST.

18/19: Sharp, Mcgoldrick, Clarke (til January), Madine, Hogan

19/20: Sharp, Mcgoldrick, Clarke (can't remember when he left that season), Mcburnie, Mousset, C Robinson, Zivkovic.

I think Campbell has been the difference. Mainly down to the change of shape but everyone looks better. Play Campbell and you have our best goal scorer and he actually makes use of Moore.

Sadly I thought Brewster was poor again. Gave ball away quite a few times. Thought we played much better in second half and particularly after he was subbed. He seems a lovely kid and we'd all like nothing better than for him to come good but how long do we wait?

Agree Blackburn faded last 20 and looked weak down their right side . Credit to Campbell has good feet for a big man . Took his chance well . He will get better with more time on the grass

Is he the next free transfer Wilder gets loads from.

Released by Stoke who sit 16th in the table.

Good that he’s now playing more and more importantly, scoring.

Goals are still a bit of a worry for us, but his form goes some way in alleviating that.
