The free kick he won in the build up to the goal was prime Billy - get to the ball first and then wait for the contact. Sharp was a master at it and it not only gets you fouls in good positions but also eases the pressure late on in games. Now he’s started to hit his stride with us I’ve noticed a lot of similarities with his game to Billy Sharp. Smart finisher and gets his arse in the way holding off defenders.
Not bad for a free eh?He’s averaging a goal for every 95 minutes played this season at this exact moment in time.
“exact moment in time “. Did you mean “now” ?He’s averaging a goal for every 95 minutes played this season at this exact moment in time.
I thought it was 5 in 6We might have a 10-15 goal striker on us hands, who'd have thought! Well done lad, is that 4 in 5 now?

I did! It was just before half time, and by the end of the game the calculation would be different so I felt the need to really emphasise the precision of the temporal moment.“exact moment in time “. Did you mean “now” ?
Ten goals or more for nowt in this league is fabulous business these days. I thought Hamer would be our top scorer this season in a campaign that lots of players would be chipping in four or five and he gets ten or 11 but Campbell can be a little bit beyond that imo.We might have a 10-15 goal striker on us hands, who'd have thought! Well done lad, is that 4 in 5 now?
He's a great instinctive finisher who makes some really good runs but I'm not convinced about him leading the line well?
In a perfect world, you'd play him next to someone who could hold it up.He doesn't hold it up or run the channels like Kieffer Moore does.
We can't really play it long with him on the pitch. It means we have to play through the lines and the likes of Hamer & O'Hare need to put their foot on it and help us get up the pitch (similar to how McGoldrick used to). Neither player is great at that.
He’d have been brilliant alongside McBurnie. In a perfect world, you'd play him next to someone who could hold it up.
&/or Moore ?He’d have been brilliant alongside McBurnie.
I agree! Although I also think that with him a lot is supply. It seems like we get him the ball to him in the box, he will put it away. That's his game and it's great to see.It is unlikely he will keep up this goals per minute record so when he does have a dry spell I hope people don't get on his back. Last promotion Mcburnie had a great run pre world cup when nursing a hernia the whole time. That spell kept us in charge of our own fate.
Moore is decent but I think he’s a bit of a downgrade compared to McBurnie.&/or Moore ?
Cant / won’t disagree- I’d have McB back tomorrow but seeing as he isn’t here I feel KM is an (more than) adequate ‘replacement’ - in fact I’d happily have both on the books - cover for each others ‘absences’, + substitute option - centre half battered for an hour & then another raw boned bastard comes on to continue the bruising - or even both on together !Moore is decent but I think he’s a bit of a downgrade compared to McBurnie.
McBurnie was frustrating at times- and that’s bit of an understatement; but I do feel like he’s one of the better options at this level, and Moore, whilst similar, doesn’t offer quite as much for me.
If that happened, I'd imagine BBD would play on the left. Still think Campbell would fit better playing on the right, but Rak-Sayki has it locked down.Tek Brereton back on loan with option to buy, him and Campbell will be unplayable.
