Just a random one, do you follow any of the current Blades squad? If so who......

I get all my Blades' news on Twitter through Tony McMahon's sister.

twitter........................... is that sumwhere else to spout bollox ? :D

Is here a good place to mention we're around 120 followers away from 3000? :)

If you aren't already following us, get doing so for updates from matches and more.

Follow these people; they're magnificent at keeping me awake between 7 and 9am on saturdays.

I "followed" a few of the lads last season, before I discovered that like 99.999991% of the human population, they've got fuck all to say worth listening to. So I deleted my account.

I often wonder how people can concentrate on watching the match whilst constantly fiddling about sending txt's ???

The time to start worrying is when the "goal celebration" is the scorer twatting his acheivement to his followers whilst the opposition are kicking off.
Twatter? Not whilst I still have a life thanks.

Beautifully put, Tarquin - I was in the gym the other day, and the bloke on the next running machine was tweeting happily away, next minute he's gone, on his arse on the floor. To be honest, if luminaries such as Rio Ferdinand and Joey Barton lead the field, then I think we should start to trim the herd.

I followed Tonne for a while to see how he was getting on at York. And he mostly posted retweets written in Norwegian.

Twitter.. i'm sorry i just don't get it..
'i'm going for a haircut #haircut'.. it's dumb :)

and anyway.. i'd much rather come on here and spout bollox to a more elite group of my peers (no sarcasm intended btw)

None of the blades I follow spout anything particularly interesting, but its worth following Joey Barton, he gets abused once every 0.000000012 seconds

I follow a few (current and ex), but I only really use it to make sure I know what my oldest is doing on her account.

Most of them post absolute tosh, but Sir Brian of Deane isn't bad, and Greg Halford comes across incredibly well, thoughtful, and well aware of how lucky he is to be a professional footballer. His response to the crisis at Pompey was diplomatic and controlled. Billy Sharp's charity work is also excellent

I keep it (as with all my online lives) completely separate to fb, here and wherever else i pop up

I seem to remember Twatter is something a bit different ;)

Twitter is crap and fantastic in equal measure.

It gives total morans on a wide audiance but there is also lots of good resource, news and informative twitter feeds that can feed you by the second updates on whatever you choose. Just because 99.9% of it is probably of no interest to you, doesnt make the 0.1% any less valuable.

As an artist, its an absolutley valuable promotional tool for me. About 70% of my website traffic is refered from twitter and its opened a lot of lucrative doors that would otherwise have been much harder to break through. Without social media, I simply wouldnt be able to do what I do.
