If we do get to the play-offs, I actually don't fear the prospect of facing Wilder's Boro in that situation. I can see how people think of it being sod's law that our old manager would succeed at our expense, but I genuinely think we could beat them again. Perhaps Boro had an off night that night, but that was probably the best and most complete United performance since Wilder was our manager. I appreciate anything can happen in these games, but after the performance against them a few weeks ago, I think their players might have that in the back of their minds, and might fear playing us a bit more.
I would be more concerned about the prospect of playing a Coventry or a Forest to be honest. Both teams who have the style to keep us on the back foot for large parts of the game, and the attackers to get in behind and seriously unsettle our backline. Wouldn't want to play Millwall again either because they have become our bogey team in recent times.
