Bit bored so thought i'd stir things up a bit.

When Birch said that his preferred target would be 'tricky to bring in' did he mean because he was a current manager or did he actually say it because the fans wouldn't like it?

Ultimately it's all just smoke and mirrors at this stage, but what do other people think?

Ha ha, that's exactly what I thought when I heard it. Being the suspicious bugger that I am, I immediately thought Smegson.....

He also said that they want someone who can continue to improve the image of our playing style.....so if they mean a manager who likes to keep the ball on the deck, cross out the name 'Megson'

It seems quite obvious to me who they want. He might as well have screamed the name out in the interview!

I think I heard someone say that Megson had ruled himself out. Not that it means a great deal.

On the subject of unpopular managers. I don't think QPR fans were very happy when they got Warnock. Now I bet they think the sun shines out of his backside.

Most Blackpool fans weren't happy taking Ian Holloway off the scrap heap.
