Had a good game and a superb goal.

Made 2 on Saturday too!

Perhaps better than most thought!

He has certainly made an impact already; let's hope that he can keep it up.

his number was on that subs board which is why he probably took a swing with his standing leg. Great strike though! But he needs to be more consistent during a game

Great goal but I think he had a poorer game tonight than on Saturday when he was excellent. He was about to come off before he got the goal and Reid was told to put his top back on. High hopes for him though.

Aye, to be fair other than that wonderful, wonderful goal he wasn't as good today as he has been.

I've been saying all week that Keith Treacy is going to do a great job for us ....and boy was I right !!! :)

The guy has played 3 games in 8 days and in my personal opnion has stood head and shoulders above half the team already ..... Last Tuesday, 2 whiskers breadth shots at goal and some excellent chasing down with well timed tackles..... Saturday, 2 goal assists and another close attempt at goal .....and tonight , well, the goal speaks for itself and he was , as already pointed out on here, the only player who could keep the ball for more than 3 seconds and display some control .....I said I was looking forward to seeing him play tonight ....and I wasn't disappointed in the least ....... Cheers KEEEEF !!

Doesnt look like a conventional winger in the sense turning people inside out but more of a wide player who's direct and knows when to get rid . In most cases makes the right decision . Reminds me a bit of Ian Bryson

As good a goal as you could wish to see.

Other than that I thought he was very poor going forward (not on his own mind) and only delivered one decent cross all night. Had to track back a fair bit as Taylor was being mullered by 17 (legally and illegally).

Hi everyone,

I tolled the bells of gloom re Treacy and then I was hearing whispers about "assists", "good performances" and, lo and behold, "stunning goal". So I thought it was right to come over here and find out what's going on.

From the sounds of things, Treacy is doing a lot better than I had expected him to do. I was convinced that his lack of vision, one-footedness, dubious attitude and his style of play would not be conducive to Championship Football (as it wasn't to Prem football).

However, it looks like he has gained confidence and is expressing himself well. It's still early but maybe he is determined to prove his doubters wrong (just about every Blackburn fan thinks that he is a waste of space).

He does have pace and a direct style. However, when he first came into the Rovers team, he also impressed. I just wonder how he will react when opposition teams work out that if you close him down quickly and show him outside, he's taken out of the game...

Good luck to him. I want Utd to do well, more for Andy Taylor's sake than Treacy's, though. (Although, I see that Taylor seemed to have a struggle of a match versus Leicester.)

From my outsiders point of view, it looks like you should do very well this season. You've got a host of useful wingers, who will create/score goals for the team. However, I see that you lot are suffering the same stylistic concerns that we Rovers fans (Allardyce-ball) are having...

Surely Blackie can only dream of aspiring to the heights (pun completely intended) that Big Boot Sam has patented. I wonder if he's ever seen that Henderson bloke . . . .

It was a stunning goal but I thought it was the first thing he did last night. I'm not knocking him, Leicester played very well and didn't give us a second on the ball. I thought the game was crying out for "proper" wingers and we left it a bit late to change it. As soon as Reid and Cotts were on, we looked a different team. It's a good start for the lad but I'll always favour a right winger over a right-sided midfielder.

Looking at how well limited wingers like Gary Teale can do well - Treacy can succeed at this level - on one condition.

He has to improve his vision. When he is on the ball, he needs so much time to work out what to do. He needs to concentrate on his team-mates positions and runs.

Thought Treacy has been doing very well and expect great things of him this season!

2 Assists and 1 Goal in 3 games is good enough for me!
