Transfers in January

Anyone willing to place bets now on the January intake? Given the loan flurry last week it looks like Ifil, Akinbiyi, Wright, Shipperly, Unsworth and Lucketti will move out. So, in addition to a quality midfield player we are still looking for a defender and a forward. Odds – Halford or Killagon for defence and Healy or Cresswell for the forward. INTL players only if they are ‘free’ and, overall, getting three known players will depend on just how much we can afford as those going out will not bring in much. It might have to be an INTL striker if the bank is low.

Whilst there's a lot of people out there, myself and United fans alike who think he's crap, at the same time there's almost the same amount of people who think he's tozzing, and I'm willing to bet Mr A Boothroyd from Watford is one of them.

There was an article on AOHell sports about "who to watch" back before the start of the season and along with Ronaldo, Henry et al, Akinbiyi was amongst them quoted as a "powerful clinical striker". Never trust the media.
