Best case, we sign 2 strikers, [1 target man, one with pace] another midfielder and a winger. Anyone making enquiries for Brooks is immediately transferred to a Sky customer care call centre and put in a long fucking queue.

Worst case, we don't get anyone in and Brooks is sold quicker than a speedboat won on Bullseye.

Most likely, we'll get a striker and maybe 1 other position. Brooks...hmmm...I do worry. We've got a lot of previous in these situations after all.
