They just have a naturally creative ability and enterprising way of playing that British players don't have.

I still believe Berge can play a more advanced role and get in behind the strikers a bit more, not as a full time number 10 but as a more marauding midfielder. He's big, strong, has good control, he can glide past tackles and has a decent pass on him

Well if he said that he is clearly losing his marbles because there is a massive difference between say Kante and De Bruyne Sterling Havertz etc.

Well that explains why we have no flair players in our team then all expected to be work horses that track back instead of playing their natural game.

That makes sense to me we were in a lower division at the time I believe and it worked we now need more skilful and specific players to progress

Are our players from last season suddenly crap? I know Fleck has lost form and Stevens but how differently would all of our games played out if the referees got their decisionr right. The exception being the Wolves game where they appear to have used all their luck in that game (2 almost perfect strikes in the first 6 minutes).

Before anyone jumps up.. no I know we don’t have that money, thankfully we are not willing to spend that amount and I don’t think we’ve ever looked at bringing him back. It’s just paper talk.

I’d take him on a loan obviously .. but would be disappointed if he was a main target for the foreseeable.

I think we will bring in a LCB in the next week and that will see us done. Do agree we need another midfielder that can bring us up the pitch quicker and someone who’s happy to to have a go from distance.

Brewster will change us for the better. Without a doubt.

Personally when fit we should always go with Fleck, Norwood, Berge in midfield. Without a doubt. Yes it’s flat when Fleck isn’t on form but it’s our strongest 3 by a country mile.

The midfield needed a touch of quality in an attacking sense, not sure why this has been overlooked.
