So what are you hoping for tomorrow realistically all I can see tomorrow is a defender and maybe a midfielder on loan.

Cant see us forking any big money out for any statement signings unfortunately.

Chris has said he's only after a LCB and if one comes in one will go out (presumably Bryan)

Our intensity, passion, and attacking intent back, please.

We might be short of a 'premier-class' player or two, but what we really need is to vastly improve our passing game - even our elementary short-distance passing has gone to shit recently - and how we look after the ball when in possession.

If we get this back we should be ok but it's got to happen soon. I wonder if it had been better if we had gotten a right gubbing today instead of another narrow loss. It worked last season for Southampton after their Leicester mauling. The whole mentality and approach has to change before we sleep-walk towards trouble.

I hope we don't need to fall much further and 'bottom-out' before we the inhibitions are dropped again and the siege mentality returns.

Well CW would be blind to see that we are not crying out for a creative midfielder and it is made all the more baffling that he has let Freeman out on loan without securing the services of another attacking midfielder.
I agree this should of been our priority as soon as last season finished, I just don’t think Wilder thinks we need one.

Well he must be blind because everyone else can see the issue we just dont have the creativity and do not have a player in midfield that can run at the opposition and have them on the back foot.

David Brooks would be a perfect fit in that role.

Being able to control a ball first time would help
Premier League players buy themselves an extra second thinking time by just killing the ball dead

Lose count of how many times a ball bounces a yard or two off our players when they try to control it

The second touch is either a tackle or a hurried pass to somebody else who likewise cannot control it

I also lose count of the amount of times a loose ball richocheting around gets picked up by an opponent who just seems to be able to read where its going

I also don't believe all this "They've figured us out bolox"

Teams don't figure other teams out, a team either plays well or it doesn't.

If a team plays well they will succeed in a certain number of their games, just like we would if everybody went back to what we were doing before

Hopefully we will see Lundstram back to the lower leagues and bring in a replacement who wants to be here maybe a loan and also a decent back up for JOC instead of Robinson.

Don’t think we’ll see anything today for us this deadline only applies to signings from other prem teams or abroad neither are where we’re looking now our deadline will be the 16th as I think we’re now looking in the champ for signings.

That is where we will end up if we keep signing quantity not quality.

Keep getting Championship players and that is where we will end up.

That's the thing, having one or two as back-up is fine, relying on them regularly is a different issue.

Osborne and Robinson, as much as they have fantastic work-rate/professionalism etc are championship players.

It is what it is I’m afraid we don’t have the wage budget to sign first teamers from premier league rivals very few teams in this division do and all evidence points to our European scouting being fairly limited so to expect that to change on deadline day isn’t realistic we’ve just got to hope we get some players out of the champ who can step up expecting anything else and people will just be disappointed.

That is where we are now we keep trying different players in midfield and in defence and not one of them change anything Norwood Berge and Fleck are the only quality in midfield and two of them should be playing in the same spot we have nothing else at the club.

Would love to see Brooks and the a random right midfielder plucked from Europe we all have to share you tube clips of
