Too many different 'We are shit' threads

All advertisments are hidden for logged in members, why not log in/register?




You can't beat a good 'we are shit' thread though. There's a really good thread about shit on General Chat, you should have a peek at that :)

How about a "we are shit" section to the forum? We could really explore the theme - a deep dive into shitness.
 
Too many 'Too many we are Shit threads' in my opinion.
 
Agreed. 15 16 threads on the game. I'm not one to whinge about which topics go where etc. but ffs.
 
I think there should be one new thread called 'Totally Crap' because I think that we sank to a whole new level of shiite today.

In fact it's hard to recall a worse opening home game.
 
Im glad someones mentioned this because I came on an hr. I was going to post my 2p. But trying to find a match thread to post in was like trying to find a needle in a haystack

Nah. Before BM crew came along it was jist Pommpey and LS6 who gave us our weekly dose of we are shit. There was a bit of Len but he made mistake of expanding the shit calling to Foxy and Linz. Now everyone is on the shitty bandwagon.
 
perhaps moving all of the slasher posts to a sub thread would solve it.. like the ched section. mind you atm the entire fucking site would end up in there

Really? Is this largely attributable to us lot with Bladesmadder history? (not that I have started a "we are shit thread", myself). For discussions sake, I've had a little gander mate - and don't recognise too many of the negative threads as being started by BladesMad folk. A change in username is possible of course, but does it not reflect a broader disgruntlement in the fan base as a whole?

I only gave us the weekly dose of we are shit because we generally have been for 6 years which is why we are still here

It feels strange to say this, but I'm even nostalgic for the first Danny Wilson season. The football was good, we had players worth watching, we bossed games, scored a bucket load... Somehow the tragicomic ending has faded from memory.
 
I just read the thread about threads, it put me off starting a thread about another thread, that was also about a thread that was about another thread being the same as the other thread, it made me realise that a lot of the threads are the same as other threads, about threads that are similar threads, if not the same threads as these threads.
I understand the need for threads, but not the need for so many threads, that are the same or similar threads, to the threads we already have or the the threads we will have if people keep writing threads about other threads that have been written about other threads that we didn't need threads for in the first place!
Actually, that's given me an idea for a thread!!!

You can't stop people starting threads, and it's too much pissing about merging them all the time. There are always going to be more threads after a game, and there's nothing wrong with that. But you should only be starting a thread if it's worth its own thread, and if there isn't an existing one on a similar subject, and extra consideration should be taken at busy times (after matches) because it can easily become a mess. Maybe this needs to be made very clear to everyone. I don't think having one super thread is a realistic solution.
 
Is this the best thread to request that people don't say we are shite on the Shoutbox as well? If we lucky enough to have a wise sage who us able to encompass all opinions on one thread then we can leave the Shoutbox for cricket commentary?

One Superthread - thats an idea. Any one offering the odds as to when it will become longer than the combined Dan Burn/Sam Morsy threads!
