Would you change it? NA has stressed consistency but I think billy coming in for DCL is probably nailed on which is ok with me,but other than that keep the same team.

I'd be happy with that

I like the idea of giving DCL game time but let's not over do it, twice in 3 days may be a bit much

Keep it unchanged for me. We really shouldn't need Billy if Bury are as bad as Roy's thread and weekend results make out. Give him time to rest for the weekend.

No probs with DCL on the bench (Che probably wide again to accomodate Billy) but give the lad 20 mins (if possible) to freshen legs up front maybe? But DCL must be ahead of the Fish in pecking order!

So how do Bury line up? We know our strengths and weaknesses so what are out opportunities and threats?
How will Bury attack us? Pass through the middle, go wide, go long?
How will they defend? Press high? Sit deep? What do their central defenders struggle with? Are they big unskillful fuckers who are good in the air? Are they mobile with good anticipation?

How do they differ from Donny? What did we do against Donny that they might be able to stop us doing?

Never agreed with "never change a winning team" not saying can't because it could be your best line up but if you have better players coming back from say an injury or suspension or maybe you have brought someone in who is a cert to start, well ok forget the last bit!

'Never change a winning team' is very simplistic and not a mantra any manager should live by. There are all sorts of factors involved. What if that winning team won despite two or three poor individual performances? What if that team isn't suited to the next opponent tactically?

Sharp has to come back in if he's fit, for Calvert-Lewin, but that should be the only change. JCR and Adams wide supporting Sharp. I'd put Basham in for Hammond - he plays well with Reed, but obviously that can't be done, so...

Long

Brayford Edgar Collins McEveley

Reed Hammond

JCR Baxter Adams

Sharp

And I can't believe any supporter of ours would say 'we shouldn't need this player to beat Bury'. We could very easily get turned over, it doesn't matter how poor they might be.

Agreed. It's an empty cliche.

Copy what the bloke on telly says.

Is this the same Bury that tonked us 3-1 at the lane with Billy scoring our only goal? :D

They might be in a bit of a state but they do have a good squad so anything could happen. Cameron's highly rated at centre half, as is Mayor on the wing, Pope and Clarke have goals in them, Mellis and Soares can be good on their day.

I think DCL will be bouncing off the walls in anticipation of another start, his first time nerves will be gone and he'll be first out of the blocks,I'm backing him to score if he starts.
Billy on second half.

What's up with them, apart from the stuffing on Saturday?

Judging by Roy's views from, I don't think they're happy with the board and the manager, apparently developed a 'big time' mentality training at Carrington and bringing in players like Eagles. They've gone away from what was working for them earlier in the season and are a joke defensively recently. Expensive squad not meeting expectations... wonder what that's like.

Like a cheap squad not meeting expectations only you spent all your money I dare say.

I can't for the life of me imagine a Bury fan with a big time mentality.

Leave Billy out of it he can't be right after just one game off.

They're just one point ahead of Doncaster and in worse form, and unless my memory mistakes me we did alright without Sharp there

He can play who he likes as long as they turn up, and put as much effort as I am to watch them. Bournemouth to Bury then home in Blyth 450 Miles. Come on Blades.
