Mines come from a Sunderland fans thing and a Stoke fan I used to work with but I don't swear by it

Only thing I'll say as a fact is I still don't rate him

If he signs I think we should be pleased. He may not be a big, fast strong, Drogba type that many want but he is clinical. He's the type who can take one touch and then smash it into the corner. I e, a goal from nothing which is something I'd be happy for us to have at our disposal. He's young and has room to improve and has a scored around 1 in 2 for two average Championship teams. He should be able to compliment Moore also.

I just hope though that this isn't instead of BBD who is like as well

Just checked he’s only scored 19 goals since 2021 and they want £10m? 20% of those (4) were in one game ffs compared to 36 for RJJ in L1 since 2019.

Neither look more than risk at that price or development at half that price

It seems to me this would be heavily reliant on having Brereton doubling up as a second CF to help out - and that may work. But we have to make sure we sign Brereton. That's the one we should be committing to in the way we appear to be committing to Cannon
