I guess the one question it does raise with the playoffs all but out of reach is how we act in the January transfer window..

Do we twist and bring new players in, or stick and consolidate until end of season and have a big clear out of out of contract players?

Good job Reading and Derby had had points deducted or we would be sat in 19th and in a relegation scrap. I think we are better than Barnsley and Dull but the rest is debatable.

Not a chance we’ll be anywhere near the playoffs and I‘m rapidly coming to the conclusion that Slaviša is not going to be the messiah some people would have us believe.

Yes he has inherited some poor players but as a squad we’re not 17th position bad? The team plays with zero enthusiasm, everything is done at a snails pace, with no aggression or passion. If he hasn’t identified and addressed the lack of those basic qualities with the players by now, it isn’t going to happen. What a mess

Actually it is accurate based on actual points needed to get 6th place over last 10 years.

But yeah i get what your saying, not that tonight's scrappy win makes me any more optimistic of making the playoffs.
