It's the 3rd of April. This season hasn't finished yet, so by that reckoning the next one hasn't started, and therefore season tickets for 10/11 will still be on sale unless I'm much mistaken, and I'm not. If you were running a shop and only took ten quid in the first ten minutes of opening you'd not shut for the rest of the day on that basis, would you?
I don't think we will sell as many season tickets for next season as we did for this one, which in part will be down to the economic climate and part due to the disaffection of some. But to despair about how many we've sold this early in the year is extremely pessimistic to say the least.
It's Sheffield United we are talking about after all. The good times are few, the truly bad times are few. We get the inbetween times. No, it's not brilliant at the moment, but it's not Heath/Peters/relegation from Division Three yet, is it?
