Did use his money
Bought assets that now belong to the club and have a sale value
Ours is secured debt, theirs isn’t
Our owner, again used his own money

Apart from that, identical
What’s it secured against?

Surely Burnley’s debt is secured against their assets?

Bit harsh that.
It's what was needed. Barry has taken persistence to levels that are stratospheric. Not content with a grown-up explanation Barry imagines that repeating the same question repeatedly will do the trick...in this case he's wrong. If you require further evidence of this idiotic behaviour look at the posts between Barry and Sean, it's further evidence that Barry seems incapable of respecting a straightforward answer.

I get that, just thought the analogy was a bit of a low blow. No problems.

I don't normally subscribe to the 'low blow' approach, but I could have gone much lower.
Sometimes the forum can seem the wrong place if what you're used to borders on a dialogue based on polite rhetoric, where the only thing you're left with is harsh, unapologetic explanations that offer a road map for the facts.

So everyone knows how many millions the blades received from the Prince’s share alliocation if one of you tells me that’s it I’ll leave the Forum 🤷‍♂️

Barry, I'm getting the impression that this is how you wear down women who say 'no' when you're desperate for sex, you repeat the same question again and again and again.

Sean will have his reasons for not responding to your question, the fact that you can't respect his reason for not answering your question is Sean's prerogative and there's bugger all you can do about it. It's a bit like traffic signs, when it tells you to follow the exit you'd be foolish to do otherwise...wouldn't you?

Barry, some advice if you're serious about understanding why it's necessary to respond to a post you're curious about. Write a reply, post reply, and then, if your reply warrants an answer, you've successfully engaged in what's commonly referred to as a useful exchange of opinions.

Surely it’s not only me who would like to know how many millions the Blades received from the Prince’s share allocation?

I’m not talking about the ins and outs I haven’t got a clue, but both clubs now have debts they didn’t have and both debts need servicing !
Again you’re ignoring an important element.
We have a debt because the club bought the ground, but the debt was in securing the stadium back under the clubs ownership.
The Prince already had ownership of the club without taking out additional debt to purchase it.

Who’s ‘we’? PA owns the club, not us. He’ll receive the proceeds of the sale (when he eventually sells) of both the club and the fixed assets. The fixed assets were paid for using the money earned by the club. Similarly, both the club and the fixed assets were owned by McCabe. The only change is that they’re now held in one vehicle, not in two separate vehicles.
Of course I was meaning the club and yes PA owns that and will receive proceeds when he sells. From our perspective, as stakeholders, the club now owns one of its biggest assets which it didn’t before and the club wasn’t purchased by PA loading debt onto it.

God only knows where all the Clubs debt has come from after the Prince pumped Millions into it after his ‘Share Allocation’ ??

Are you going down the "Owner is stealing money from the club" route here? Seem to be leaning that way

Well can not see nothing wrong if someone (a fan) wants to know where all the debt as come from after prem money and parachute payments and very healthy gate money (after covid of course) and 25 mill from selling the goalie. No money spent during 2 transfer windows. After three managers have obviously been annoyed through lack of action from the board fans will need some explanation about lack of action on the transfer front apart from loans. I'm not taking sides on this argument but maybe some one can shine a light on things.

Well I’m glad we are where we are and not where Burnley are looking forwards.

Unlike them our biggest risk is we are not a London based, metropolitan mega city, single fan based club so don’t think Man Citeh or Liverpool think Norwich
Norwich has only one team indeed I think Norfolk has only one team in the EFL.

Perhaps buying expensive Championship players whilst in the Premiership used up a few millions !!

Surely the answer must be nothing.
It was a debt for shares swap so no money would pass to the club.

We bought the stadium, we have wages far beyond our current means and we paid over the odds when in the Premier League on transfer fees and then spending over that seasons budget again to land Brewster (after already having spent it on Berge).
Last season we held onto many of those high earners, because the Manager specifically wanted to keep them and then spent a fair few million more again on expensive loans.

We had to pay back a nice chunk of change to the TV partners for Covid and lost a significant amount of income from the ground being shut.

The new training complex needs funding and we’ve improvement to make to the existing one.
Where’s the confusion?

Well that’s what I thought, but Sean said that it ended with the Blades getting Millions, and I didn’t know that so I simply wanted to know how much 🤷‍♂️

So you are saying between the board and managers they done a dreadful job

And you wonder why giving you any information whatsoever would be a waste of time.
No it wouldn’t, you said the Prince’s share allocation ended up with us getting Millions paid into our bank account, I’m not as clever as you, please please please tell me how much, please why won’t you tell me 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

It may be that having done the swap the Prince then put money into the club, but I have seen nothing to show that yet.
