We do have a debt for the purchase of the ground, which the club didn’t own and has been purchased back for us and returned to our ownership. It’s now an asset we didn’t have before.

Who’s ‘we’? PA owns the club, not us. He’ll receive the proceeds of the sale (when he eventually sells) of both the club and the fixed assets. The fixed assets were paid for using the money earned by the club. Similarly, both the club and the fixed assets were owned by McCabe. The only change is that they’re now held in one vehicle, not in two separate vehicles.
