In any aspect it feels like there could be serious matters at play here. Certainly on a PR front.
Stating the obvious if it's true that COH enquired and enquired about merging. Then it explains to a great deal that they have not read not only misread the Sheffield Football room. But the footballing world room as a whole.
But this story has the ability to really push the fans further up the wrong way against them.
They've not yet been here a year but their actions seem to be saying the wrong words.
And we can't go off their words as they are practically silent.
Certainly sacking Wilder was controversial but everything that followed showed serious lack of plan and knowledge.
And it's fair to say no fan whether they are for Wilder in charge or not looks at this summer and thinks "we've done well there". It was messy and we are paying for it now.
Lastly, these stories do get leaked about potential buyers. However who has leaked this story and to what end?
As it certainly feels intriguing the timing just post Derby win.
It's certainly interesting that the man heading up the administration at Wednesday is an owls fan.
Something that you could look at as a conflict of interest?
And I say this for this reason. He isn't the owner of the company. He is supposed to be there in very much clinical fashion. Because they have not been able to pay their bills or staff and had no viable business plan to keep them afloat.
I'm sure he will do his job to the best of ability in most aspects. But when we are talking about creditors, potential buyers and priority of paying back any debts. I'm more keenly thinking of small businesses here but the whole spectrum should be considered.
Will any love of the club sway a decision from a matter of fact?
