I refuse to believe that all the players have somehow forgotten how to play now the season has started. Preseason was with Selles and pretty much the same players at a couple. We scored what, 19/20 goals and had a plan.

Now what? The players have forgotten it? They need to learn something new and can’t be arsed now?

I don’t buy this preseason and open level nonsense, preseason is to work on a system and figure out your best 11.

Selles needs the right tools and plan sure, but these players aren’t exactly putting a shift in.

I will always say Wilder was sacked due to messing up the biggest opportunity for the new owners.
The play off final proved Wilder can not win big games.

Completely agree with this, move on from Wilder but this just isn’t right. Cut your losses now & get rid

At this point the gamble on the 50/50 should he stay or should he go, for the wild appointment of an unproven manager with no track record of promotion seems absolutely scandalous and this has lost the fanbase, would appear to have destroyed any momentum, tanked the mood inside the dressing room and is on course sink any chance of an automatic promotion push...

But hey ho, several good reasons to get rid of a manager who is proven, had a good season and had the club in a positive position for another go at it?

Why wouldn't anyone say Wilder??? I don't get the hate for the guy from some in our fanbase. Genuinely. He's one of our most successful managers ever. Didn't get us promoted last season... OK... disappointing... but sacking him and then appointing a guy with no promotions and no track record on his CV is bonkers. Selles is way, way, waaaaaay out of his depth here. Wilder wouldn't be.... but I acknowledge that there are others who wouldn't be either. Selles is jus just a massive mistake and, despite thinking he shouldn't even be here, I feel for the bloke.

These owners created the most toxic atmosphere the day they sacked Wilder... with no coherent plan.

theres now 2 points of equal worst decisions in our history

letting Don Givens take a penalty
appointing some nobody with a useless record to change direction from amassing 92 points
