For me , after 60 years following United, then for me it's Billy Whitehurst. Always gave the opposition absolute hell.

Webster is a good shout. Often forgotten. His best game was probably the win at Oldham ruining their unbeaten run on their plastic pitch. Which made Joe Royle a miserable twat for years.

are probably the ones who have just come in and really wanted to play for the club and not been looking to manufacture a move away (yes Sharp left twice but that was circumstantial and not greed driven).
Loads of others who came in shorter term and really bought in to the club and were fan favourites but ultimately they were seeing contracts out and they probably went on to do the same elsewhere as they were just likeable and committed professionals.
I wouldn’t have Brian Deane in the list, he’s a legend but he fucked off to Leeds, the Benfica move seemed to be a push from us so he gets away with that one.
You got the resident token pig laughing at you, he thinks Bannan is loyal when in reality no other club will have himChris Morgan
