Nothing I've said has suggested they should be "displaced" by anyone, I'm saying they should choose to move themselves. Why do you keep strawmaning?

If you're sat next to family members who are standing, you aren't really watching it together anyway. If the friends and family you come with all sit, you should sit somewhere else with them.
Does seem you like to tell people what they should do .I choose to sit at all home games but stand at all away games ,my choice .personal choice is the key

I’m not sure you know what strawmanning is.

I can’t think of a decent reason why they should have to choose to sit somewhere else. And that’s the case until such time as the seats are taken out and the section becomes a designated standing area.

Do you check this shit before you press reply?

I have opinions about what people should do, just like nearly everyone else commenting in this thread.

Strawmaning is arguing against strawmen rather than the arguement which is being made. You've repeatedly suggested I think it's ok for fans to be pushed out their assigned seats by cokeheads etc.

The decent reason, imo, is improving the atmosphere in the stadium. Letting those that want to stand up stand up.

I’m arguing against the argument that’s being made. Which you’ve made very easy to do, to be fair.

You cant beat having as seat at the back of the Kop AF. you can stand on you seat to avoid see someone who is a foot taller than me back of his head. Perfect view.

I've not once argued that anyone should be forced out their seat, or that anyone should stand in an area without a ticket. You have repeatedly argued against those things.

I'll leave it there though, obviously not explaining myself well enough.

Taking aim at seniors for both our h&a atmosphere is a cop out. Maybe our support is, ya know, OKish on the whole, and not extraordinary. Leeds have a rep to self perpetuate and fair fucks they do it well. We're not organised for it and heavily dependent on performance/circumstances in front of us. We're Barry regular in comparison and always have been.

Leeds are the best no doubt, I'd say we these days are possibly the worst in the league, bramall lane definitely is quieter than any ground I go too.

It's just dynamic and reactive as opposed to consistent and reliable. Home and awaym. And again, always has been. Late 90's and early 00's was the same despite nostalgic tales maintaining otherwise.

It was definitely way better back then, I've never found our away support to be anything spectacular, it was far better than now though, but bramall lane at times was tremendous, even for bog standard games with 14k there it was better than now with 28k there.

What about an away season ticket? £80-100 gives you first choice on tickets?

Bramall Lane has always had the reputation as being one of the tougher places to go due to the vocal support. Even when we've been shitola at football.

I think you’ll find that possession of a season ticket gives them exactly that right. As said previously, we don’t operate unreserved seating.
Not really, they chose a seat and sit there because it's easier to have fixed seats but if it benefits the club they get moved! It's not a house they've bought / rented, it's a fucking piece of plastic you sit your ass down on!!

Interesting marketing ploy. If implemented, do you think this would result in more or less renewals?

I can’t remember ever being moved from my seat for any reason other than when the BLUT was given over to away fans about 25 years ago & our crowd moved into the South Stand. Wapping Blade & Greenwich Blade will remember that. If you’re a season ticket holder your seat is your seat. No other fucker will be sitting in mine unless I ever decide not to renew which is very unlikely.

It's not your seat, it's owned by Sheffield United, you pay them a yearly fee to sit in it.
