Totally agree! I actually think we should play more techno/progressive house bangers in the hour leading up to the kick off. Dj with Pioneer Cjd 3000’s up in the control room.Meet Her At The Love Parade by Da Hool is an absolute BANGER that has become synonymous with a Bramall Lane pre match build up, I utterly love it.
It will be a sad, sad day when he stop playing it - long may it ring out at Beautiful Downtown Bramall Lane![]()
We might have grown accustomed to MMATLP, but when I look down at the away fans from BLUT corner you'll see loads of them having a little rave with silly grins on their faces. I like that.Meet Her At The Love Parade by Da Hool is an absolute BANGER that has become synonymous with a Bramall Lane pre match build up, I utterly love it.

Does anyone remember when instead of Annie’s song we got the opening notes of the next track on the cd, Grandma’s feather bed!?
Jerry “The Saint” St Clair/Jerry Diggnan vibesAnother thing that’s mad. Sinclair’s matchday voice is nothing like his actual voice. He has a proper Sheffield accent behind the scenes.

Yeah it is. Wilder deffo has some input. Remember he specifically chose Ian Brown before we played the pigs other year. And No Mercy hasn’t been played I don’t think this season. It’s different under Wilder than it was under Hecky isn’t it?
I shall pay attention tomorrow
Or forget to
Standout memory of him…. Second half substitute was happening and he got his sub announcement and attendance announcement mixed up… “ coming off Jonathan Forte - thank you for your support”People complaining about Sinclair need to remember what it’s like on those days when Sinclair is off and that ‘other bloke’ does the job, you know who I mean the one who sounds like he won a raffle to operate a P.A. System at football ground for a day..
….not only is he terrible he is an absolute Jonah .. I don’t think we have ever won a game when he has been doing the job.
I paid attention and concluded that I was indeed incorrect John CutsbushesIt’s different under Wilder than it was under Hecky isn’t it?

Unfortunately he won't be there on Wednesday night.Safe to say Gary Sinclairs long term future as stadium announcer is safe and sound based an his stand ins performance today - good god almighty that was tough on the ear holes.
Get back to the Lane, Mic in hand in time for Wednesday Mr Sinclair!

It's replacement knee surgery, get him a wheelchair, we need him back on the mike.He had an operation won’t be back for some time
That’s what happens when a pig fan starts a thread. What’s with the extremely petty arguing on some of these threads? Can’t you just knock it on the head please?
Ey up Silky me owd cocker. How are you?Gary Sinclair has been at BDTBL for an eternity, and I have met him at his studio in Dronfield, and his passion never waivers. Song wise before and after, you cannot better "United" Judas Priest, or " Sandstorm" Darude, they take you to a next level, especially after walking out of the ground after a win. The announcer at the Lane when my dad took me to my first game in the 60's was Ian Ramsay, another top quality announcer! Happy days!
Gary Sinclair always says that line about being respectful to our neighbours on the way out.The guy today said after the final whistle something along the lines of "Please be respectful to the residents when leaving the ground."
It made me laugh and cringe.
It just sounded out of place and like it was lifted straight from an old FIFA game.
90% of the vicinity of BL are students and businesses and it's not like fans are smashing up houses on Shorham or John Street at 5 o clock in the evening on a Saturday
Hope Gaz gets better soon.

Great supportMissed GS today.
There were a few other misses;
1. Gary Sinclair
2. The Pompey striker facing an open goal
3. Brewster shooting (again)
4. Entertainment
Poor day all round for me at BDTBL today.
Red button for me on Wednesday night, so that'll be another miss.

Yeah agree.. he was clear enough but just not a pleasant voice to listen to.Safe to say Gary Sinclairs long term future as stadium announcer is safe and sound based an his stand ins performance today - good god almighty that was tough on the ear holes.
