Leicesters has the Germany
1990 design incorporated too so is better than purs. We just get a template catalogue one.
Pink? Fucking pink? You never please everyone, I think that pink away shirt will probably sell well, I will be getting one. Purple and gold Midas shirt anyone?
They're all templates. Bit strange that Deadbat is doing a podcast on kits and doesn't realise this.
No offence Deadbat
Hope these aren't real, they're a bit wank.
They just don't look like United kids.
Can't we get back to some solid red and white stripes with a bit of black trim and minimal faff?
I’ve been told by someone who works at Bramall Lane, the away kit is pink.
Not impressed if right
Home -
Positives are the thickness of the stripes and red in the middle. The middle part is fine but need to see the collar and back of course.
Negatives - I don't like the sleeves at all. Too much white on our shirts never works. We are more red if anything and any trim on the sleeves or solid colour needs to be red or even black. More white makes me think of Stoke or Southampton when it comes to the design.
Away -
Positives- New colour. Like us to try different things and move away from always doing lime or white. No problem with pink either. The colour itself being quite adventurous means it needs to be simple and fresh. So no probs with how it looks.
Negatives - Template kit and lazy in the senn Leicester got a pink adidas away already. Like we are the hand me downs ...a kid brother. Leicesters has the Germany
1990 design incorporated too so is better than purs. We just get a template catalogue one. Its quite dull in the sense the pink seems too dark and not vibrant enough. Also surely this clashes with red making it a kit we can't really wear much. Maybe get away with v Southampton but Liverpool, Arsenal etc it won't work.

Overall not keen and a big drop off from this season ...will rate these on our final part of our kit podcast (caveat being these are not confirmed)
I've made my thoughts clear many times on Adidas shirts. Good quality shirts, I'll give them that, but awful designs for home shirts, away shirts better but we don't have a away colour as such so they can do what they like - to a degree. They are incapable of producing a "Blades" home shirt in my view. When you say a drop off from this season, the home shirt we've currently got is just awful, awful - got to say that twice! Why? A solid red or white back (from the season before) never looks good (nor solid sleeves), and of course, as we play in stripes it isn't a Blades shirt in my view. I dread to think what the back looks like.
I've got a refund due from the Spurs game and I was gonna spend it on a new kit, but if I do it won't be the home one and I've not bought one single Adidas shirt in protest to the awful home designs, although I'm not sure they have noticed haha!
The away one's much better as a shirt, really like salmon pink, but as others have said, it's a problem producing a pink kit for either Sheffield team, I'd have thought we'd have insisted to Adidas that we shouldn't have a pink kit for that reason, but maybe once the mickey taking's gone from Wednesday fans, who, lets face it, need something to banter about as what's on and off the pitch at Hillsborough isn't very clever these days to say the least, it'll be a nice Blades shirt to have. As it stands, I may just spend the refund money on a hoodie!
When I started supporting United in 1989 we were spoilt looking back with year, after year, of decent Blades shirts by Umbro. I'm not sure we'll ever go back to that, even if we got Umbro back again, it seems the norm for striped teams to have solid areas, usually to the sleeves and arms, but I do think Adidas could at least try a little harder to produce a striped blades shirt! I'm sure it can be done!
Its frustrating when you look at the Adidas solid colour shirts for say Man U and Leicester that look brilliant, and whilst there is usually different material or variations to design in parts of the shirt you don't notice on the solid shirts.
Angling for an invite? They're all templates. Bit strange that Deadbat is doing a podcast on kits and doesn't realise this.

I do not mind pink but we should have gone for a vivid pink like the Baca shirt above....might be the picture but the United one looks a bit washed outWhat's wrong with pink? That leaked one of ours is arguably better than the offerings from some of the biggest clubs in the world recently
Barcelona 3rd shirt 20/21
