Is it me or is the red a little lighter than usual on this picture of the supposibly new kit?

Also doesn't look right for an Adidas shirt without the 3 stripes down the arms. Doesnt look like they are down the sides either.

I''ll reserve judgement till I see the full kit especially the shorts. They'd better be black. Not a fan of Adidias kits none look like football shirts for me more of a casual shirt with their insistence on putting pin stripes down the sides or on the shoulders. Sheffield United play in red and white stripes which should cover the whole of the shirt back and sleeves looks like they failed on that one again.

As for a white back I really hope not as the defining moment of how bad our kit was the season before last was when we played the pigs away wearing white shorts and we looked like dirty Weeds.

Pink shirt not averse to something different but it looks like a salmon pink and that probably the worst of options available. Hopefully in the cold light of day it will look better.

In any event I'm more concerned about how we play in the shirt but I suspect we'll be towards the bottom of best shirt leagues if these are the designs.

The strips are on the shoulders, this seasons kit doesn't have them on the arms either.

I saw a bit of Everton v Leicester last night and the one thing that really stood out was that fucking awful pink Leicester away shirt.

Absolutely no way on this earth will I buy a shirt like that, in fact I wouldn't even wear it if they were paying me to do it!

Don't think Adidas' "elite" teams (Man U, Arsenal, Real, Bayern, Juve) are templates going on below article? Maybe in a few more years for us... Imagine the meltdown if they gave us something like the Juve shirt tho!

The home shirt looks very white (presumably solid white back too) but so did our promotion kit, and that grew on me over time.

Meh, to say Adidas have a history of making some of the greatest ever football kits, 30 odd years ago!!....I know they make special kits for bigger teams, but to me that's bizarre! I say release special kits for every team, make more money!?

Until I see one that can even compare with our retro shirts, I'd rather shop at "classic football shirts", than the club shop.

Will wait til I see them up close, but initially disappointing for me.

surely we 'can't' have a pink away shirt as it is so close colourwise it clashes with our home shirt. Its like having a dark red away shirt. Fake news I reckon!

They are templates though. The Real Madrid one from that article is the same as Sweden & Flamengo (amongst others)and also uses the same template for our home shirt - Thick V-Neck Collar, Thick Sleeve cuffs. Look at the seam on the shoulders



In 2017/18, we had the same kit as Bayern:



The big clubs get subtle differences like the cuffs on the Real Madrid kit etc. but the base of the kits are all the same

Pink is an awful colour for a football shirt. Home shirt is also poor - particularly the really bold trim at the bottom of the sleeves.

It would have been better to ask fans to vote on options.

It is. It's a very good source for leaked kits.
